2nd Carrier Sites RTWP increase case

Problem description:
There is slight increase : 1- Site N_Maadi_3 type is BTS3812 (Macro NodeB), its radios (MTRU+MAFU) are 40watt capable radios, noticeable increase in its RTWP synchronized with 2nd carrier activation.

2- Site Maadi_Khabiri2 & site Basatin_center types are DBS3800, their radios (RRU) are 40watt capable radios, noticeable increase in their RTWP synchronized with 2nd carrier activation.

3- Site DCS_Sakanat_EL_Maadi is DBS3800, its radios (RRU) are 60watt radios, and its RTWP havent any change after adding the 2nd carrier cell.

Cause Analysis:
As there is no RTWP increase in site DCS_SAKANAT_EL_Maadi which its RRUs are 60watt, we have to isolate whether 40watt capable radios are the only affected when it carries 2 carriers, we can go for below actions: 1- Adding another MTRU+MAFU in the first sector of site N_Maadi_2 and to carry F2 of the first sector, by this way MTRU0+MAFU0 will carry F1 of first sector and MTRU1+MAFU1 will carry F2 of same sector 2- Expand another site with 60Watt radio and monitor its RTWP.

3- Replace 40watt RRU with 60watt RRU in one of the affected sites ex: Maadi_khabiri2 and monitor the RTWP

Root Cause:

RTWP decreased for Maadi_Khabiri2 sector 3 for F1& F2 cells after replacing the 40W RRU capable with 60W RRU capable as below, which proves that the root cause of the illogical increase of the RTWP after adding 2nd carrier is the 40W Radios themselves

Huawei Feedback:
Please find the below feedbacks to the RTWP of 2nd carrier. The slight increase of the RTWP is due to the change of reference frequency point after introducing the 2nd carrier. However, it will not bring any affect on the sites performance or KPIs. The NodeB calculate the RTWP as follow: RTWP = measured signal power after the power amplifier power amplifier gain + compensation value Here: The power amplifier gain is the UL branch gain mentioned in the above tablel. The compensation value depends on the reference frequency point, when there is only one carrier; the reference frequency point is 9662 which is the center frequency point of this carrier. After adding the 2nd carrier, the reference point change to the center frequency of the 2 carriers, which is 9674.5. So the compensation value changes with the reference frequency point. Why we add the compensation value? There is no power amplifier without imperfection, so we need to add this value to compensate the minor error from the amplifier.

The UL branch gain indicate the capability of the power amplifier, different value means different model. Maybe some model is better than others, so the RTWP change is smaller than others.
