Heb 10:14

Animals Cant Get It Done

The solution for sins is not animal sacrifice. The repetition of Old Testament sacrifices remembers sins every year. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

Therefore/so (5):

Heb 10:59

The Will of the Father

Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me. Whole burnt offerings and sin offerings you took no delight in. Then I said, Here I am: I have comeit is written of me in the scroll of the book to do your will, O God.

This illustrates the primacy of doing Gods will (7) over the forms of sacrifice (4, 5b).
The passage interprets

Psalm 40:68.
The point of the citation

is that there are more important things than ritual sacrifice.

The incarnation of Son

was for the man Jesus to do Gods will, and in so doing, abolishing the ritual sacrifices.

Heb 10:118

So What?
The problem with all lawkeeping is that it never ends, since it keeps trying to pay back for sins. 14 Christs prayers in the garden (Matt 26:39,43) reflect His efficacious sacrifice. 9 The goal of Christs sacrifice is to perfect or complete us who have been made holy. 10, 14 Christ hath redeemed us Once For All 10
