Baskets Needed
The Week of the Young Child Committee is once again asking for your help. We would like to extend an invitation for parents to help create theme related gift baskets to be utilized as door prizes during the recognition banquet at the Valencia Ballroom. Theme suggestions include: spa, sweets, international foods, coffee, tea, gardening, games, puzzles and stationary. A sample parent letter that you can distribute will be available on the YAAEYC website in the Week of the Young Child section. Parents are asked to submit their contribution by March 30. Baskets can then be brought to the United Way or Children First Learning Center (215 St. Charles Way, York) by April 5th. Should you need to make arrangements to have your basket picked up, please contact Vickie Wooditch at CFLC, 741-5426 ext 21. Who knows, you or your staff just may be the recipient of one of these spectacular gifts.
