School Grade Semester Theme Skill Time allocation :SMP Negeri 1 Denpasar : VII :I : Greeting Card : Reading and writing : 2 x 40 minutes (1 session)

A. Standard Competence Reading Understanding the meaning of short and simple functional text which is related to the closest environment and/or in academic context. Writing Writing or expressing the meaning in form of short and simple functional text to interact to the closest environment and/or in academic context. B. Basic Competence Reading Understanding the meaning of short functional text efficiently and correctly which is expressed explicitly and implicitly related to the closest environment and/or academic context. Writing Writing or expressing the meaning in form of short and simple functional text (announcement, personal note, greeting card, invitation, etc) accurately, orderly, and accepted to interact to the closest environment and/or in academic context.

C. Indicator Achievement a. Identifying the factual information from the text. b. Making greeting card. c. Getting the meaning of the greeting cards.

D. Learning Objectives

a. After the teacher gives a text about introduction, students are able to identify the information and answer the question from the text correctly. b. After the teacher gives some greeting cards, the students are able to answer the questions about the greeting cards correctly. c. Main (60 minutes) Exploration a. The teacher asks the students with some question: 1. Have you ever written the greeting card? 2. How many kinds of greeting cards do you know?

Elaboration a. Teacher gives the review about greeting someone to remind the students about the lesson last time. b. Teacher gives some example of greeting cards then asks the students to identify of the greeting cards meaning (divide the class into some groups). c. Teacher gives the explanation how to make greeting cards. d. Teacher shares the coloring paper, then asks the students to make their own greeting cards (assessing). Closing (10 minutes) a. The teacher gives feedbacks to the learning process and outcomes or takes the students to play a game (confirmation) b. The teacher assigns the students in making greeting card. c. The teacher and the students draw conclusion about the lesson.
