At Club Shabbatini your baby (and you!) will love getting into the Shabbat groove. Boogie, sing and clap with guitarist and Rabbi Melissa Zalkin Stollman! Itll be an interactive musical Shabbat party you wont want to miss. Get down to Jewish and universal favorite songs and discover traditions from around the globe. Our little ones will be introduced to Jewish life and Shabbat, while we make new friends over wine and cheese. This will be as much a chance for the parents to hang as it is for the babes to sing. For babies 0-2 years old. All are welcome (there's no velvet rope) so please bring your friends! This takes place at 208 W 13 Street (Gay and Lesbian Center) - the building and room are all stroller accessible.

The Rebbes Table. Join Jodi Kantor, New York Times correspondent and author of the best selling biography The Obamas, and Rabbi Dan Ain for a discussion about the role that faith has played in the public and private life of the first family, from the faith that they share, to the faith that others think they share, to the faith that many have placed in them. Kantor, who has been covering the Obamas since 2007, began her journalism career by dropping out of Harvard Law School to join Slate.com in 1998. Four years later she became the arts & Leisure editor of the New York Times, the youngest person in memory to edit a section of the newspaper. She is a recipient of a Columbia Young Alumni Achievement Award, was named to Crains Forty Under Forty list of New Yorkers, and appears regularly on television. Join us at City Winerys Wine Cellar (155 Varick @ Vandam). Stay on and continue the discussion during a lively Klezmer Brunch.
