The Soul Pentacle is a creation by Timothy Robert Keal, produced in 1996 through means of relentless meditation as to the conceptualization of the soul. It was created with the intent to serve as a diagnostic tool in the form of dual checks and balances flow charts operating as a diagramatical checklist. It is only magickal as is the soul. Quintessence by definition, is the smallest element that forms all other quantities. The soul is formed of five. In the diagrams, the arrows indicate the governing flow for each of five Quintessence over two of their neighbors. The Pentacle itself, for the most part, is identical to the Wiccan Earth/Water/Wind/Fire/Spirit pentacle layout. However, the difference is that Conscience, Passion, Anger, Fear, and Joy are mapped to the points instead. The mapping of the points is either clockwise from lower left for The Left Hand, Lesser Vehicle, Selfish Path, or counter-clockwise from lower right for The Right Hand, Greater Vehicle, Humble Path. I believe karma to be a feature unique to the human soul. The Pentacle serves as an alternative to Tarot reading as a method of casting change upon one's path through life. This is done in an indirect manner by changing the soul rather than changing the path of the soul. I Believe that the path cannot change without the soul itself changing, as karma is predetermined by the soul itself. Karma is not contained within the soul, but is the resulting feedback created as a result of the soul.

I believe the design of a soul as depicted this booklet, to be that which is predetermined by a higher force. The soul design depicted in this booklet is that of a human. For example: a cat is a lower being, as it cannot conceptualize the soul of a human, as a cat's soul is simpler by design and cannot accommodate the soul of a human. Karma is the concept that one's positive and negative influences fold back upon one's self. I believe karma to be destiny predetermined by the soul. By changing the soul, you can change the karma you receive in your destiny. The soul is defined by ten weights, each tied to one pair of relationships between two Quintessence. A weight is simply a ratio of dominance between the two relationships in the associated pair. The Quintessence form four rings, the Outer Left, Inner Left, Inner Right, and Outer Right. The outer two rings depict extrovert, environment-based interaction, while the inner two rings depict introvert, seclusional foundation. The left two rings are selfishness, while the right two rings are humbleness. They govern in a loop from left to right as follows: Selfish Extrovert : Joy, Fear, Anger, Passion, Conscience, Joy Selfish Introvert : Conscience, Anger, Joy, Passion, Fear, Conscience Humble Introvert : Joy, Anger, Conscience, Fear, Passion, Joy Humble Extrovert : Conscience, Passion, Anger, Fear, Joy, Conscience
