Specific Accomplishments o Led and managed all aspects of the human resource function for urban school districts school administrators, teachers, teacher/buss aides and assistants, and clerical staff, as well as instructional department directors and supervisors. o Established proactive role as the full human resources advisor and consultant to the Superintendent, other senior management members, teachers and district employees overall. o Managed Leave of Absence and FMLA process for over 6000 employees, established record keeping and internal tracking procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with FMLA/ADA regulations and to monitor staffing levels. o Created and introduced the first Teacher Transition Plan which required teachers on extended leaves of absence obtain critical training and supervision prior to returning to the classroom. o Changed the annual district Teacher Recruitment Day (TRD) to an on-going event based on subject area and school building needs.
