Vayakhel Pekudei 2012

This week on the Torah cycle we are doubly blessed with 2 portions, double outpouring of Manna! Vayakhel And He Assembled covering Exodus 35:138:20 and Pekudei Accounting of covering Exodus 38:21-40:38. These are the final 2 portions of the book of Shemot/Exodus. Its here that the Mishkan actually begins to be built by Israel as they receive from Moses the instructions and pattern given to Him upon Mt. Sinai. Its through Israels interaction with Yahweh at the Tabernacle that we learn and are given a visual picture of His plan to fully redeem and deliver His people and then to restore them! Lets dive in and see exactly why we have been assembled! Not only are these the final 2 portions of the book of Exodus, but these are also the last 2 portions of the group of 5 that provide the detailed instructions of the Mishkan. *Vayakhel = 22nd portion of the year, 4th concerning the Tabernacle (2 +2 = 4); 22 = number of letters in the Hebrew Alephbet & 4 = door, from the root word #1802 dalah to draw, dangle, to draw from a well; used in Proverbs 20:5 Counsel in the heart of man [is like] deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out (dalah). Council: Strongs #6098 etsah council, advice, purpose; cognate of #6096 atseh spine or backbone & #6095 atsah to shut; 2 letter root is tree *Torah Scrolls are bound on wooden rods referred to as Etsei Chayim or Trees of Life. Our backbone/spine is also a depiction of the Tree of Life (surrounded by deep water or spinal fluid) & this is in connection with the building of the Tabernacle, built in the form of a man/Messiah who was a living Torah Scroll! Deep: Strongs #6013 amoq deep, mysterious, depths; cognate of #6012 ameq deep, unfathomable, used to describe the speech of foreign people as unintelligible, Isaiah spoke of the return from Babylon, telling the people that they would no longer hear the unintelligible speech of foreigners (Isa. 33:19) & Ezekiel was told that he was to speak to the house of Israel, not to people of unintelligible speech (Ezek. 3:5,6). Understanding: Strongs #8394 tabuwn understanding, intelligence; 1st reference is used to describe Bezaleel and Aholiab, builders of the Tabernacle! Exodus 31:3 And I have filled him with the spirit of Elohim, in wisdom, and in understanding (tabuwn), and in

knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship Could it be that the building of the Tabernacle and the reason we are assembled is to have revealed to us the door provided by the Hebrew language, the Word of Yahweh? It is the well that we have the potential to draw from, though it was for a time shut to us and because of our unintelligible speech we couldnt understand the mysteries or hear the Word of Yahweh in its fullness, but we are now being filled with the understanding necessary just like Bezaleel and Aholiab when building the Tabernacle! Its the Torah Scroll being unfurled/the Messiah making known the mysteries! And this understanding/council/deep mysterious things are now being written as well upon all other Torah Scrolls (individuals) that are willing! Jeremiah 31:33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people. Exodus 35:1 Gathered: Strongs #6950 qahal to assemble, gather, to call together; 1st used when Israel gathers to make the golden calf! Exodus 32:1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together (qahal) unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for [as for] this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. Delayed: Strongs #954 buwsh to put to shame, be ashamed, be disconcerted, be disappointed; used in Gen. 2:25 when Adam and Eve were both naked and were not ashamed/buwsh Come Down: Strongs #3381 yarad to go down, descend, decline, march down, sink down; 1st used in Gen. 11 when Yahweh came down/yarad at Babel to confound the language! *When Moses is upon the mountain hes receiving the language/Word, writing it upon the stones! Exodus 34:28 And he wrote upon the tables the words of the Covenant Wrote: Strongs #3789 kathab to write, record, enroll; Gematria = 422 400 & 22; 400 = the sign of the Covenant, the seal & 22 (the 22 letters of the Hebrew Alephbet). Yahweh affixes His language/alephbet as a seal upon us so that we would be able to stand before Him and be not ashamed (buwsh)! This was why they were gathered (qahal), but Israel chooses to assemble/gather/qahal to be intimate with another husband the golden calf and upon this the 1st tablets/stones with the language/Word are broken once again the language is confounded/lost just like at Babel (yarad)! Israel gathered to make the molten calf egel maccekah gematria = 228, the same value as Ets Chayim Tree of Life They gathered around the Tree so instead of being able to draw from 2

deep waters (Proverbs) and have the proper tree/ets to make it sweet (Exodus 15) they instead are made to drink the bitter waters Exodus 32:20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt [it] in the fire, and ground [it] to powder, and strawed [it] upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink [of it]. This molten calf was formed with a graving tool (Exodus 32:4) Strongs #2747 cheret an engraving tool, stylus, chisel, something with which letters were inscribed with either on wood or stone Israel chose to write another Torah/Word! *Last night, David shared concerning the veil over Moshehs face; Veil: Strongs #4533 macveh veil It shares the same 3 letter root as molten/maccekah only one has the Vav (6) and the other the Kaf (20)! 20 +6 = Yahweh This was worn because his face shone: Strongs #7160 qaran to shine; the root of #7160 qeren used to describe the horns of the altar, a horn as a musical instrument (not only the sight but the sounding and proclaiming of the Torah of Yahweh is hidden as well). The horns/qeren of the altar was where the blood was applied, and the horns were at the corners of the altar. Corners: Strongs #6438 pinnah corner; spelled the same as paneh #6440 face the only way we would understand the light of Torah shining again and the sound of Torah being spoken forth again would be by the Scroll with the blood in the face the Living Torah Scroll made flesh, the Messiah Yahshua! The number 400 (from the word kathab dealing with the Word of Yahweh being written) is also seen in Genesis 15:13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land [that is] not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years *Its connected with Israels time of bondage! Stranger: Strongs #1616 ger sojourner; from #1481 guwr to sojourn, abide, dwell, be a stranger, to turn aside from the way; Gematria = 203, same as avni machtseb hewn or cut stones! Israel would be in bondage and would be strangers to that which had been hewn and cut into the stones the language/Word/Torah of Yahweh!

This connects us to the name of the other portion Pekudei. Exodus 38:21 This is the sum of the Tabernacle Sum: Strongs #6485 paqad to attend to, muster, number, reckon, visit, appoint, look after, or care for; also has the idea of to pay attention to, observe, to seek or look about for, to be made overseer, or to be entrusted with 3

*Was part of the key phrase that would signify the end of the children of Israels bondage in Egypt (those 400 years)! Genesis 50:24 Elohim will surely (paqad) visit (paqad) you & seen repeated in Exodus 3:16 and Exodus 13:19. Does this sum/accounting of (paqad) of the Tabernacle mark the end of another form of bondage as well? The restoration of the pure language to the people! It becomes a shadow picture pointing towards our days where once again we have been in bondage and separated from the Word, but its restoration causes the Bride/Eve to once again go back into the side of the Messiah/Adam being made echad (pictured in the Tabernacle/Temple Man as the Priests enter and exit). The sign is when she (the Bride) pays attention to, observes, seeks for, is entrusted with and made overseer over the language again! Pekudei is the 23rd portion of the year; 23 = the 1st letter + the 22nd letter, the entire Hebrew Alephbet and also the Messiah! A complete restoration! *After Israel chooses to assemble (qahal) with another husband and the tablets are broken (language lost), who is entrusted with the responsibility? This will give insight into who will again be instrumental in the restoration! Exodus 32:26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who [is] on Yahwehs side? [let him come] unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. Levi: Strongs #3878 Leviy joined to, garland, crown; connected to #3880 livyah wreath, specifically describes the Torah, wisdom, and instructions of Yahweh as an ornament or wreath! 22,000 Levites are consecrated to serve in the Tabernacle (Numb. 3:39), once again pointing us back to the 22 letters of the Alephbet; what was at stake was the crown of the Language, the Torah and instructions of Yahweh! Gathered: Strongs #622 acaph to gather, receive, remove, gather in; shares the same 2 letter root as the name Joseph *It is the responsibility of Joseph to take up the Crown and be joined to the Torah of Yahweh, be reunited with the Alephbet, and in doing so it will cause the bondage/dispersion of the house to come to a close and the people will be gathered/assembled/qahal from the 4 corners of the earth before Yahweh! The second portion this week starts in Exodus 38:21. Testimony: Strongs #5715 eduwth testimony; comes from the root #5749 uwd 1 )to return, repeat, go about, do again 2) to bear witness, to say again and again Deals with something being spoken or proclaimed! The Tabernacle 4

signified the place where the language was proclaimed/spoken forth again and again! The place where it was restored and returned! Notice in this verse the term Tabernacle itself is repeated twice! Tabernacle: Strongs #4908 mishkan dwelling place, tabernacle, a tent; from #7931 shakan to settle down, abide, dwell, tabernacle, reside; 1st reference of shakan is Genesis 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed/shakan at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. The shakan/Mishkan (Tabernacle) was placed to keep the Tree of Life; remember the tree/ets also is connected to the Torah Scroll/Word of Yahweh and the spine/backbone of a man pointing towards the Messiah. Those who choose to gather at the Mishkan and to serve by taking up the Crown/Language/Word gain access to the Tree of Life/Messiah! *Gematria = 410, 410 silver vessels of the Temple were brought back from Babylon under King Cyrus (Ezra 1:10 Silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten) Silver: Strongs #3701 keceph silver, money; from #3700 kacaph to yearn for, long for, to long after Basons: Strongs #3713 kephowr bowl, basin, frost (used to describe the size of the Manna on the ground in the wilderness); = like = speech, mouth owr = 2 letter root of light Like the mouth of light/like the speech of light Cyrus: Strongs #3566 Kowresh possess thou the furnace; the furnace is where the impurities are melted out, the metal is refined and purified Those who choose to come out from Babylon (the same location where the language was lost) and gather at the Mishkan because they yearn for and long after the Manna/Word that is like light being spoken forth will possess the furnace! They will be refined and purified! 410 is also the value of Biztha spoils; = plunder, spoils, describes the Temple when it was plundered & = cells, chambers, guardroom; from the root taah to mark out, point out, to draw a line (Remember were talking about the Alephbet, the lines!) Those that are purified and refined in the furnace, returning from Babylon, will be those stationed in the guardroom in order to protect the language/alephbet/Word from those who would attempt to spoil and plunder it! *Remember that this is connected with Joseph! The 2 letter root of his name is Strongs #5592 caph threshold, sill, doorkeeper; from #5605 caphaph to stand at or guard the threshold 5

Josephs calling and responsibility is to stand guard as the doorkeeper! 1 Chronicles 5:2 For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him [came] the chief ruler; but the birthright [was] Joseph's. Birthright: Strongs #1062 bekowrah birthright, right of the first born; = in = furnace & = fruitful In the furnace Joseph will become fruitful again! *The root of bekowrah is bekowr (#1060) firstborn; gematria = 228 same as the molten calf and as the tree of life! Only when put into the furnace will Joseph be able to fully understand his role and cause the house to be assembled at the Tree of Life instead of around the molten calf!
