Help WantedCommitted Persons needed!

John 2:18-25 Then answered the Jews, and said unto Him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? 19) Jesus answered, and said unto them, destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20) Then said the Jews, forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days? 21) But he spoke of the temple of his body. 22) When, therefore, he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. 23) Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, in the feast day, many believed in His name, when they saw the miracles which he did. 24) But Jesus did not commit Himself unto them, because He knew all men, 25) and needed not that any should testify of man; for He knew what was in man.

Prayer: Talk to the Lord

As we look at the state of the economy we find that more and more people have become unemployed, business shutting down and therefore jobs are hard to find. Those who have been laid off or because of jobs or business closing find themselves pressing out morning after morning, interview after interview, trying to convince themselves and the employer that they are the men or women for that position, they are committed to whatever the business is committed to., customer satisfaction is our guarantee! You hear on some commercials or have it your way! whatever their slogan that draws clientele they are looking for employees that have the same goal or drive to represent their place of business. Well, God is seeking some folks that are committed to His business! He is seeking those who have a heart for people, that desire to see those that are sick healed and those that are in darkness come to the light, he is seeking those committed person to hold up the blood stained banner of faith and continue to work with steadfast diligence, because they believe the slogan of His organization Jesus saves! But what are the requirements? To be employed by God? God is looking for those that are committed to: Worship and prayer, restoring the Kingdom of God into the hearts of People and for those who hope in the promise of the returning King! Now as we go back and look at our scripture we see that it says in John 2:23

Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, in the feast day, many believed in His name, when they saw the miracles which He did. This symbolizes the state of many of us in the church, we are enthusiastic about the power of God, we ask God for what we need and when we get it we are enthusiastic about what God has done for us and in our lives but we lack the commitment necessary to fulfill the position He has given us as believers. Help Wanted is Gods call to us today, Leaders, laymen, young and old God is looking for those who are committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ to work for Him. Jesus knew the hearts and still knows the hearts of men, He knows when you are committed to building the membership of your church and when you are committed to building people, now these men in the scripture were only enthusiastic about what they could get out of God and the fame or fortune that they could receive t by being with the man of God, they had no concern for God himself, and that is why Jesus did not commit Himself to them! Jesus is telling us that we must be committed in our hearts to God, not man, because God is calling us to consecrate ourselves, our whole being, the way we talk, live, give and love in worship and service to God, and He will commit His Holy Spirit into making us the men and women that He has spoken us forth to be! Now as we look in our training manual, the bible, we find our requirements and job descriptions, we must be committed and meet all the following requirements in order to even be considered for this position:

First, we must be committed to worship: John 4:23-24 says

But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. We must live a consecrated life of worship to God. Everything we do must be worship unto the father. Psalm 24:3-5 says: Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His holy place? 4) He who hath clean hands, and a pure heart, who hath not lifted up his soul to vanity nor sworn deceitfully. 5) He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

You must have clean hands and a pure heart, meditating on Jesus and the gift of salvation, in all His majesty and glory, purifying your ways, heart, mind and soul in the daily saturation of His presence, God is inviting us to worship, to press into His presence which is necessary for the daily cleansing, transformation and growth of our spirit man. We must not make a vow to God and break it! When We accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior we asked Him to come into our lives and make us over, to do our part for what he would have us to do but as we go along our journey, we realize that we do more of what we want that what He wants, but God is saying for us to not swear deceitfully unto Him but to be fully committed to His will and His way or we cant ascend into his hill or stand in His holy place! Ask yourself do you meet these requirements?

The second requirement is we must be committed to prayer for ourselves and for others.
1 Thess. 5:16-18 tell us, Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Prayer is how we communicate with God and we must have a line of communication open to our employer at all times, for training purposes and instruction. We authorized through our faith in Christ to have direct access to our Lord when we pray. We are to pray persistently and on a regular basis, which strengthens our relationship with Him, strengthens our Faith in Him and increases our ability to pray affectively that we will see the power of God manifesting through answered prayer. If we dont pray there is no instruction, if we dont pray how will we know His voice, if we dont pray how can we give God access into the situations in our lives, we must be committed to prayer! When our brothers and sisters are sick and afflicted, when situations occur in their lives we must stand in prayer with them and for them, that they may be healed, they may be delivered; asking for whatever the Lords will is to be done in their life. James 5:13-16 tells us: Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Prayer is an essential part of our faith and is a powerful tool that was used by our employers Son who is in charge of this company. With prayer the sick are healed, the afflicted are delivered, the dead are raised alive and sins are forgiven. There is a saying, a family that prays together, stays together, and this is a family owned company that has been surviving on the grace mercy and unconditional love of our Founder God the father!

Thirdly we must be committed to the Charge:

Luke 10:2-3 tells: The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; Pray ye, therefore the Lord of the harvest that he would send forth laborers into his harvest. This job is strenuous and burdensome, it can be trying at most times and very time consuming, but it is well worth all the effort you put into it to reach those who are hurting. This job is not easy and many have lost families and left behind, houses, lands, brothers and wives and mothers for this charge, but Jesus tells us in:

Mark 10:29-30: Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospels, 30) but he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses and brethren, and sisters and mothers and children and lands with persecutions and in the age to come eternal life. Your commitment and faithfulness to this company, Kingdom of Heaven will be rewarded but you will face tribulation, trials and have some hard decisions. Problems and struggles will come your way but know that God works them all out to your good. Things are not perfect because we are imperfect people but if we are committed to worship and prayer God will make our jobs a whole lot easier. Jesus our training instructor tells us to, take on his yoke and to learn from him so dont worry, he will never leave you unprepared or ill equipped to do this job and he will give you sufficient ON THE JOB TRAINING through his helper the Holy Spirit. Luke 9:1-2 in our manual gives us our job description and tells us of the authority we have been given, Then He called his twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. 2) And He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Matthew 10:5-8 goes a little deeper in detail in telling us: Go not in the way of the gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans, enter not; 6) but go, rather, to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7) And as ye go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. 8) Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons; freely ye have received, freely give. If you have not figured out your job title yet, you are a disciple, everything that Jesus has done and showed you to do in this training manual is to be done during the course of your employment, You are to live, talk, and be a representative of the Kingdom of Heaven, an ambassador for Christ. We dont have time to be slack in our duties, to be fussing amongst ourselves, or allowing the enemy to cause jealousy, envy or dissentions among us, if you find that to be a situation, we have a policy for working in a hostile work in environment, and our the case manager is J-E-S-U-S! Jesus has given you full authority and power to heal the sick and afflicted, and to cast out demons, for our training manual says in 2 Cor. 10:4-5, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God. We are not powerless so we must preach the gospel, and baptize in the name of the father, the son and the Holy spirit, making new disciples and teaching them all things that Christ has taught us through the ministry of the Holy Spirit who is our helper and know that He is with you always, 24-7, 365 days a year for eternity.

Last but not least we must be committed to the promise:

The promise of God has come once but will return again, and they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. Jesus is soon to come again to receive those who are committed to the work of His ministry, and who continue to work while it is still day, because when night cometh no man can work. 1Thess. 4:16-18 tells us, For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first; 17) then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18) Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1Thess. 5:6-8, therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober-minded. 7) For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that are drunk are drunk in the night. 8) But let us, who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for an helmet the hope of salvation. So brothers and sisters, as we go about our duties, as instructed by our Lord and Savior we must remember that every good and perfect gift comes from above and they are to glorify and exalt God. So although, God has set some in the Church: first Apostles, second prophets, third teachers; after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 1Cor. 13:28 He has given all things according to our faith, true ministry is the exercise of spiritual gifts and walking in the ministry gifts that the Lord has equipped you with to do the work of Him that has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (2Peter 2:9) God is calling out HELP WANTED!
