Objectives and requirements of training course - To provide the trainees the new veterinary technical knowledge to help diagnosis, prevention and treatment animal disease to have more effect. - To provide the trainees the training methods and skills in order to train them to become trainers that will have ability to train the farmers to become the veterinary practitioner at hamlet level. - The trainees have a thorough grasp of the training methods and skills and practice fluently these training methods and skills in the farmers training. 2. Training course program contents 2.1. Veterinary knowledge 2.1.1. Further veterinary knowledge This part focuses the etiology, clinical findings, lesions, differential diagnosis, prevention and new treatment measures to animal diseases that the hamlet veterinary service workers didnt study in the past training courses. a) Diseases of Swine Hog Cholera Salmonellosis Pasteurellosis Erysipelas Leptospirosis Differential diagnosis 5 important diseases of swine Colibacillosis Coccidiosis Edema Disease Swine Dysentery Mycoplasmal Pneumonia of Swine b) Diseases of Poultry Newcastle Disease Infectious Bursal Disease Colibacillosis of Chicken Fowl Typhoid Coccidiosis Fowl Cholera Mycoplasma Gallisepticum Infection (Chronic Respiratory Disease) Infectious Coryza Duck Virus Enteritis (Duck Plague) Differential diagnosis 5 important diseases of poultry
