SSMG-005 was built in July 2008 at MEDS facility in Ajman UAE. The system is designed to be fully self contained, portable Mix Gas Diving System. The color Code of the system is White (Top) & Blue (Bottom). The system is built to diving equipment specication in compliance with IMCA D-037 guidelines and PVHOs was designed and certied by GL Classication Society. Full technical details schematics operating instructions and certication packages and spares schedules form a set of documentation specic to SSMG-005 and are carried with the system at all time. SSMG-005 is a Sister Diving Equipment of SSMG-003 and supports 3 Divers. The SE System enhances the capability of MEDS for much faster mobilization to dierent clients. MEDS being known for rapid mobilization is Proud to accommodate one more system into the list. (SETIA-SELAM - II) 12 Man Saturation Diving System The equipment is intended for: Performing saturation diving down to 300 msw, Accommodating a maximum of 12 divers working by shift of 3 divers (2 divers + 1 bellman). The proposed modular system is built around a main structure housing the 6-person chamber, the TUP, the diving bell and its handling system. A 3-person chamber with twin lock and a Hyperbaric Evacuation Chamber complement the system. The ancillary equipments are mostly incorporated into containers. - The use of the Additional Chamber as a decompression lock enables 24hr diving schedule indenitely. - The HRC is designed for 12 persons. It is used as a 3-person living chamber in normal conditions. - The bell can be used to perform observation dive at atmospheric pressure down to 300 msw. (SAT DHRUV) 12 Man Saturation Diving System The Saturation Diving System (Sat Dhruv) is Fully Certied by ABS Certication Society, it supports up to 12 divers in saturation at depths of up to 200 MSW, it also conrms to all the legislation requirements of the UK HSE and IMCA. The diving system pressure envelope comprises a 6 man, single lock chamber, a 3 men, single lock chamber, 5.5 Cu Mt transfer lock, a 3 men living/ 12 men, Hyperbaric Rescue Chamber and a side mating, 5.85 Cu Mt, 3 men Bell. The basic layout of the diving system & chambers are mounted on 2 large lifting frames (Bell Handling Module & Chamber Module) + HRC, all suitable for installation on an open deck. The Diving System & Chamber Complex is monitored and controlled from a purpose built containerized control rooms. The transfer locks are outfitted with toilet, hand basin and showering facilities, these compartments are also provided with emergency equipment similar to the main compartments.

Life support and environmental control for the chamber complex is provided both internally and externally by means of specialized proprietary equipment. Dive Control is housed in Containerized Control Room; it has windows from which diving bell deployments may be observed, it houses all monitors, indicators and other essential services necessary to ensure safe ecient bell diving operations. The Diving Bell Handling System is fully articulated and suitable for moon pool or side launch. Hydraulically Powered Winches are employed for hoisting & lowering the bell and for the deployment & recovery of the Guide Weight and the Composite Umbilical. The HRC has the benet of a recent Thermal Evaluation, heating & cooling capacities comply with the requirements of the current IMCA Guidelines. The HRC chamber has a provisioning lock, viewport & all necessary safety and emergency facilities required for preserving life. During normal operation the HRC is controlled from a panel in Saturation Control and is interfaced with the diving system by means of a quick connect umbilical. The HRC carries reserves of Heliox & Metabolic Oxygen Gases, as well as all necessary safety and emergency facilities required for the preservation of life.
