Tell me about yourself.

Good morning sir. First of all I would like to thank for this opportunity to explain about myself to you. I am sudagar from pallathur. My father is teacher and my mother is also a teacher and also I have a younger sister, she is doing dental in srm university. I am doing final year BE production and I secured 67 percentage up to sixth semester. I did my high school in dominic savio higher secondary school and got 86 %, I did my higher secondary school in adarsh vidyalaya higher secondary school and got 88%. My area of interest is strength of material, jigs and fixture, welding. I finish two projects in last two sem. The title of the project is Designing a jig for 132s motor body. The next one is optimizing the TIG welding parameter using Taguchi method. I went for IPT in Ashok Leyland for 5 days. My strengths are hard working guy and also I can make the people to work hard, self confidence, motivation by myself and also others. My co curriculum activities are I secured third price in paper presentation, CAD modelling. My extracurricular activies are represented as a tamilnadu SEPAK TAKRAW team player in 22nd senior national sepak takraw championship. Winner in intramurals sepak takraw match. Achieved star sports man award in 2011. My short term goal is passionate to the job in your organisation. My long term goal is to be stabilized in your organization. My hobbies are Playing cricket, football. Solving sudoko. Thank you for expressing myself to you sir.

Why should I hire you?

As an organisation, you need contributors, who can perform both individually and collectively. I can be that contributor easily enough. I have skills to perform and adapt, and zeal and vigour to learn. Also being a fresher, I can add bit of fresh approach along with my senior's experience. As a fresher I need to use my knowledge for the growth of your company. I have to learn the implementation of my knowledge through your company.

No doubt that I will perform well because of my passion towards work and little experience. As I am a fresher, I am having the eagerness to learn new ideas quickly. What are your strengths and weaknesses?

My strength is I can attain the confidence of people in my work environment as well as i can make them happy, as my friends say wen i am around them its fun. My weakness is my Short tempered nature perhaps which always lead me into trouble, but the only way i am trying to overcome this is by increasing my patience. Firstly I would like to put light on my strengths. The best part of me is Optimism. No failure can ever deter me from achieving my goals. Also I can adjust to all type of people and situation. I am hard worker and eager to learn more and I am ready to push myself to any limit. Coming to my weaknesses, I was very poor at Time-Management. I never used the free time I had and it's really one of the biggest mistakes I made. But as soon as I entered my final year in college realized that I had a lot of things to do and very little time. From then I have worked hard and utilized every single second. Also I have a public-speaking phobia which I am currently working upon.

Sir my strength is that I have positive attitude towards my life that is I accept both successive and failure equally with calm mind and I always try to learn from my mistakes. And my weakness is that sometimes I think negatively. As negative thoughts motivates me to work with a greater zeal. My strength is my weakness. Dedication to work is my strength. Sometimes it becomes my weekness.If the work is given to me. I wont leave it till it gets completed. I will try to complete as soon as possible. Strength: I am positive attitude person and self motivator. Weakness: Sir i really don't know my weakness because in each time my success will overcome it.

My strength is my hard word and my dedication towards my work. Good team work and leadership skills add to my skills. my weakness is that i do not sit till my works gets completed. sometimes i like to work as quickly as possible and all of them not have the same wavelength.

What is the difference between confidence and over confidence?

Confidence: I will Be selected in this Interview Over-Confidence: Surely you will select me Confidence: I will be selected for your Company. Over Confidence: You must have to select me. Confidence can defined as the believing in you're ability to achieve you're goals / performing tasks / facing challenges , with required efforts from your part Over-Confidence can be defined as over-rating you're ability to achieve certain tasks / goals / challenges which is far from you're reach and trying to reach it may lay the path for you're down fall "If you are going to do a job and if you are not nervous and ready to face either success or failure & to do it until succeed" - it's confidence. But if it is not like above it's over confidence. Its answer will be very simple ...that one who is completing work neatly without maintaining attitude called confidence..and who maintaining attitude with same ...may be over confidence. As a researcher we can say that confidence have 90% chance to come with positive and over confidence may come with positive or negative...not determined. Confidence is "I am the right person for this job". Overconfidence is "No one else is better than me for this job"

What is the difference between hard work and smart work?

Smart work is well planned structured work and hard work is working like a machine without thinking much..........For a employee to be successful, using his brain in t he little work he does is more important

than what normally people do... appreciation comes only when u stand out of the box. here in dis case we call it smart work. Hard Work : If You Have 3 Apple and Distribute it in among 7 people then you do it by pieces of Apple But Smart Work: You Simply juice of Apple and distribute among them.... Both hard work and smart work deliver you with quality results, but hard work takes more time, energy and even investment/ money to deliver the quality result while in case of smart work the same quality result can be achieved with new ideas / new methods / new techniques that do not require as much money / time / energy to be spent as in case of hard work. Hard work is thinking in a usual way as what others do. Smart work is out of box thinking. Depending upon what the situation demands, Hard work or smart work is the better option. Hard work is important in many situations, but smart work is also needed sometimes. For Eg, If you are new to a city, Hard work would dictate that you should explore and find out about the good places, work culture, etc in the city yourself. This is a time taking process. However, smart work would dictate that you get in touch with someone already staying in the city for a long time and through him, you find out about the details about the city like good restaurants, pubs, nightlife, schools, colleges, hospitals, municipal buildings, etc. This would save you the effort of doing the same work from scratch. That is why I am in favour of smart work. Hard Work is solving one problem in an aptitude test by following one by one all the steps those were mentioned in the textbook, but smart work is solving the problem through short cut methods. You will get result in both, just through smart work you can achieve your goal faster but through hard work you will require little more time.

How do you feel about working nights and weekends?

I don't like working in nights and weekends because days are meant for working and night are meant for taking rest. if we work in nights and weekends it seems like "digging a well in a day". Well as a fresher I would adjust with the late nights and weekends. Being energetic and enthusiastic about my works I can handle such situation. As being a fresher I have decided an strategy to follow.

This is the beginning of my career and lot I have to learn so won't let it go so easily. If it is a regular phenomenon, I may not like it. Because as every machine needs a rest after working for a long time and recollect energy to work further, similarly our body also needs some relaxation at the end of day or week the job. But if there is some situation I will always be there to fulfill the requirements of the company at customer service. To get boost-up, so as to perform more enthusiastically, I prefer not to work at nights and weekends.... But when it comes to company's great profit, I would definitely dedicate that time for it. So I am always ready to serve and make the venture profitable with my work whenever urgently needed even at nights or weekends. When you enjoy / love you're work you never mind working nights or weekend and also with challenging work environment where you have lot of competition it's imperative / important to perform/work without any concern over working at nights / weekends to enhance you're career growth. If my working time is at night and weekends, i'll work as usal. If it's not, then I won't. Because I'm having the habit of finishing the work on time. So no need of working at nights and weekends.

Can you work under pressure?

Yes i think that i can work under pressure and the best example to this may be the present scenario ,where you can imagine the pressure on me as being a fresher at his very first interview. Yes I know that I can work under pressure, since I have already done so, whether in school / college or in my previous job. It's during the pressure time that you need to relax and have a clear mind and also it's important to have patience. Once you have a clear mind and think positively, you will have clear idea about how to finish the job or how to handle the pressure. If we work in good environment and get success that is not a actual talent, if we get a success in pressure that is actual talent, and I will learn something new thing which I can never get without this condition. Also it enhance my capability.

I never work under pressure I always delegate my work to others so my pressure goes away. I would like to work that type of situation because life is a pressure we will face many type of pressures, if that situation will come we would welcome it and face it and i win it. Yes, I can work under pressure. Because it will help me to show how I adapt those kind of situations also if I am, it will provide a chance to prove myself among others. Hi sir it is one of the good question but the thing is that whenever we are working under pressure we are ignore some work and points and also we didn't know what are my next step. So work freely you got a more knowledge. Yes, I can. I know I am a good challenger. So i'll accept that pressure as a Challenge.

Are you willing to relocate or travel?

Yes, i'm very much willing to travel or relocate as it provides me the opportunity to work in a new environment where i can meet with people coming from different culture and learn new ideas / techniques that can enhance my career goal within the organisation. To have a very long and successful career with the same organisation it's necessary / imperative to understand the work culture and functions of the organisation in different locations. Yes of course. Given a chance I would like to relocate cause its much more beneficial by jumping out of the well and adapting new things rather then being a part of the same old well. Yes. I will relocate if the company requires and it is beneficial for me to learn new things and to come across different cultures of people and it elevates our internal skills how to adjust to different mindsets of people and environment. Yes sir I m ready to relocate to any place because it will build up a quality in me to adapt to any environment. And I believe more in exploring new places.

Yes sir I can relocate because I studied by relocating only. I studied my primary, secondary, PUC in all different places and also studying this engineering here which is 650 KM away from my native. Relocation also helps to know different kind of people and environment. And also if it is company requirement to relocate me then I have no problem. Yaa, I am ready to relocate because I want to see new places and person. I can easily adopt myself in any environment. But, my parents won't allow relocating. If they give permission, I ll relocate. I want to build my career so I will give importance to my work rather than location n full-fill my company requirements. Yes sir, anything is not stable in the world changes should be needed in everything. As a software engineer I can easily adopt to any place and also I take it as a good chance for me to get the knowledge about many places in the world.

What are your goals?

My short term goal is to build my career in a well renewed company where i can apply and nourish my skills to a great level. and my long term goal is to achieve such as position in life such that when i see behind i should feel proud of my track records My aim is to success the cherished dream of my parents and wants to became a very successful person in life. And for my of want to be a very cool husband. Sir I as a fresher has decided two goals at present, firstly I want to join the top reputed organization as yours so as to enhance my skills and expand my horizon of knowledge and secondly I want to be the topmost successful engineer in my organization as I am a smart worker with clear vision and aim.
