ABOUTKCAUNIVERSITY
KCA University, formerly known as Kenya College of Accountancy was granted the Letter of Interim Authority by the Commission for Higher Education on 26th June 2007 allowing her to operate as a fully fledged private University. KCA University is a non profit making institution founded in July 1989 by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) to offer quality training in accountancy. The college has grown to become a vibrant and self-sustaining University focused primarily on achieving its mission of promoting the development of quality and cost effective training. KCA University has its own campus at the CPA Centre in Ruaraka, Thika Road, and approximately 12,000 students train with the college each year. The colleges expanded facilities at the 15 acre CPA Centre campus include an ultra modern library, sports and recreational facilities. The growth in numbers and expansion of facilities is a result of careful diversification into finance, information technology and executive training and consultancy services to supplement accountancy training. The college now runs five main education and training wings: (i) Faculty of Science & IT (ii) Faculty of Commerce (iii) School of Graduate Studies (iv) School of Professional Programs (v) Institute for Capacity Development (ICAD)

InstituteforCapacityDevelopment(ICAD)
The Institute for Capacity Development (ICAD) is an executive arm of the KCA University. It was created in 1999 to provide value added management, consultancy and business skills training to professionals in business, public service and nongovernmental organizations in Kenya and in the region. With the focus on enhancing business performance, ICAD works in partnership with organizations to leverage their staff training needs and ensure that the same contributes to efficiency and effectiveness, and improves technical skills which ultimately enhances business performance and produces world-class leaders. ICAD offers short, flexible certification courses, seminars, workshops, in-house tailor made courses and consultancy services aimed at delivering features and solutions that are most appropriate reflecting the clients objectives and social-economic circumstances.

COURSEOVERVIEW
The current complex, continually changing, ever challenging domestic, regional, international and global economic, ecological, political, cultural and social environments coupled with the threats of natural and man-made disasters require exceptional leadership. Success on the business competition requires timely collaborative, tactical and strategic win-win asset allocation and alignment with flawless execution. Balancing multiple competing demands most especially customer, employee and shareholder satisfaction within the context of finite resources is the business of the day. What are the requisite competencies and capabilities for executive success in this environment? This two-day Executive Leadership Seminar is aimed at helping the senior and middle level managers to master the art of leadership in coping with challenges of the new global competitive economy.
