Aim: To study Colpitts oscillator. Apparatus: 1. Analog board of AB67 2. DC power supply +12v from ST2612 Analog Lab 3. Oscilloscope 4. Patch code Circuit Diagram:

Procedure: Connect +12v dc power supply at their indicated position from ST2612 Analog Lab 1. Connect a patch cord between points a and b and another patch cord between points b and g1. 2. Switch ON power supply. 3. Connect Oscilloscope between points f & g2 on AB67 board. 4. Record the value of output frequency on Oscilloscope

5. Calculate the resonant frequency using equation. 6. Compare measured frequency with the theoretically calculated value. 7. Switch off the supply. 8. Remove the patch cord connected between points a and b and connect it between points a and c. 9. Remove the patch cord connected between points d and g1 and connect it between point e and g2 10. Follow the procedure from point 4 to 8. 11. Connect +5v dc power supply instead of +12 supply and follow the procedure from point 2 to point 11.

Procedure: Connect +12v dc power supply at their indicated position from ST2612 Analog Lab 1. Connect a patch cord between points a and b and another patch cord between point b and d & ground 2. Switch ON power supply. 3. Connect Oscilloscope between Vout & ground on AB68 board. 4. Record the value of output frequency on Oscilloscope

Procedure: Connect +12v dc power supply at their indicated position from ST2612 Analog Lab 1. Connect a patch cord between points a and b and another patch cord between point b and d & ground 2. Switch ON power supply. 3. Connect Oscilloscope between Vout & ground on AB68 board. 4. Record the value of output frequency on Oscilloscope 5. Calculate the resonant frequency using equation. 6. Aim: To study Voltage series and Voltage Shunt negative feedback Amplifiers Apparatus: 1. Adtrons trainer kit. 2. Signal generator 3. Oscilloscope. 4. Multimeter Circuit Diagram:

Procedure: Voltage Shunt 1. Disconnect link 1 that the negative feedback is disconnected and the circuit works as a circuit without feedback. 2. Connect the Signal generator and Oscilloscope in the input terminal ,and connect Oscilloscope to the output terminals. 3. Adjust the output of signal generator to 1khz sine wave and gradually increase the output voltage so that the oscilloscope can display maximum non distorted waveform at the output terminal. View and record the waveform at INPUT and OUTPUT respectively. 4. Connect the negative feedback circuit by connecting the jumper LINE 1. 5. Repeat step 2 & 3. 6. View the waveforms of Vin and Vout for both the circuits with negative feedback And without negative feedback. Voltage Series 1.
