Subject: FW: AF Radiological Sampling Plan and Isotropic information(FOUO) Good Morning, I'm writing from the NRC Protective Measures Team and am trying to access the classified website below, but need additional information on how to do that. We have a classified email address at our Operations Center that is available for use if that is easier to obtain the information. That email address is HOOl@nrc.sgov.gov Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Nima Ashkebo.ussi

Here is the background about AF air sampling to date which includes 1) the sampling plan that our installation's bioenvironmental engineers (BEE) have implemented, 2) the initial unclassified dose rate analysis of data collected at location which is classified, 3) the most recent isotopic data we have 1) AF BEE sampling plan: Misawa and Yokota began sampling (3X daily) on Monday, 14 Mar. We expanded the locations our AFBs and some ANG installations in Korea(3X), Guam(3X), Alaska, Washington(IX daily), Oregon (1X), and California (1X) on Wednesday, 16 Mar. The west coast sampling was to hopefully document a zero and aid in assigned a population dose, if need be. Air sampling guidance was provided (attached) and will occur until further notice. In addition to a ion chamber reading, the sampling plan called for a gross alpha and beta/gamma reading on our filter paper after a 1000 cubic foot sample. Sample media to be sent to our lab for further analysis. Of course, we could only detect particulate radiation. We receive data daily and Ma) Shaw's intends to comply some of the raw data soon. We have seen some elevated readings at Yokota and Misawa. 2) and 3) show have several days of data (scroll across the sheet) with an initial dose rate estimates and one day's isotopic results as an example. r b, t For additional information see http://us.patrick.af.smil.mil or email us at
