This program not only included theoretical courses, but taught applicable skills such as sound production, intermedia production and video editing. I am also a graduate from Queens University with an Honors BA degree in Psychology. I possess over three years experience in client centered positions. Through my academic, work and life experiences I have developed many skills such as: excellent inter-personal skills, solid judgment, refined analytical reasoning, a strong and committed work ethic, bilingual language ability, excellent public speaking abilities, and high level of creativity. additionally, having lived and traveled abroad, I have gained an understanding of other cultures which has broadened my worldly view. SKILLS Languages: Bilingual in English and French and studied Spanish for two years at the university level. Creativity: During my employment with DND, I had to produce creative solutions to issues pertaining to military training programs. Often, a particular physical and psychological training program would not produce the desired outcome, thus I was responsible for designing and testing a new approach. Additionally, I was involved in creating a new web-based program that would assist military doctors with assessing an injured members current job suitability and/or limitations. Currently, I am learning to use a variety of creative programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Korsakow, Flash, Wordpress, Prezie, iMovie, podcasting, Protools, etc. The

assignments associated with these programs are designed to become pieces in my portfolio. Thus far I have created sound features ready for radio play, print advertisements, database narratives, etc. Furthermore, I have a passion for developing back and white photography, drawing, and creating short video. EXPERIENCE Department of National Defence Human Performance Research and Development Research Assistant Personnel Support Programs November 2009 August 2011 As a human performance research assistant for the PSP branch at DND, I assisted with the development of many projects (involving physiological and psychological programs) for military personnel. I worked on an Occupational Fitness Standards project, which reviewed the physiological and psychological standards for each occupation in the military in order to be valid and legally defensible. These new standards will eventually be used for career managers, recruiting officers and medical officers.

Department of National Defence Military Personnel Operational Research Analyst Assistant Psychosocial Health Dynamics Research Team February 2009 November 2009 As a military personnel research analyst assistant in the Human Resources Branch at DND, I administered psychological assessments to military personnel on various military bases. I conducted personality assessments, aptitude tests and reviewed drug screening results of military personnel in order to test whether there is a link between a personality type and drug-use coping strategies. I also provided support to my Defence research team, such as data collection/survey administration, compilation of research data, advanced literature reviews, primary data analysis, formatting and preparation of presentations, data entry, creation and management of library databases, research on virtual databases, translation of documents and memos, and coordination of business travel.

Reesor and Pigeon Psychology Clinic Part-time Assistant June 2008- September 2008 As a part time assistant to Dr. Reesor, I gained experience with the assessment and treatment of patients, assisted with a research project for future publication, and conducted general maintenance of patient manuals for take home information. This employment has allowed me to use my undergraduate studies in a real world setting. Queen's University Archives Assistant to Archive coordinator January 2007- April 2007 The position entailed working on the preservation and organization of the historical archive collections. This employment contributed to the enhancement of my general knowledge and education at university. Responsible Gambling Council Campus Outreach October 2006 I was hired as part of the gambling awareness program for students on Queens University campus. I participate carrying out education programs for students about harmful addictions to gambling and how to prevent and reduce their risks. This employment allowed me to exercise my leadership and interpersonal skills, while doing a great service to the Queens community. Empire Grill Restaurant Server Seasonal 2006-2008 Woodenheads Server September 2007-April 2008 (8 months) These jobs allowed me to gain experience in business and allowed me to perfect my interpersonal and sales skills. I was seen as a hard working team member who contributes greatly to creating a smooth working environment. VOLUNTEER WORK The Mission 2002-2003 I volunteered every Saturday distributing food to the homeless patrons of the mission.
