Introduction: Early motorcycle security systems were typically based on using the motorcycle horn or a very loud siren of sorts; sensing functionality was rather limited. In many cases, a motorcycle could be efficiently lifted up on to a transport and moved away without setting off the alarm. Thankfully, progress has been made. This progress is due to growth in the motorcycle industry, consumer awareness, technology, rising insurance costs and unfortunately, necessity. For most motorcyclists, necessity has become the driving force, with everything else falling into line.

Background of the study: An alarm system by itself is not the total solution in preventing a motorcycle from being vandalized or stolen but, it can be a powerful deterrent and a key component in any layered approach to keeping your machine safe and providing some much-needed peace of mind regarding your investment. A related tangible is that an approved security or alarm system can often lower insurance rates, sometimes significantly. However, as many individuals know when dealing with their insurance agents or brokers, should and will are often far apart. circuit features an intermittent siren output and automatic reset. It can be operated manually using a key-switch or a hidden switch; but it can also be wired to set itself automatically when you turn-off the ignition. Advantage: -As per LTOs statistics, one in every ten motorcycles is stolen every day. Due to these rampant incidences of motorcycle theft and hijacking, we must be in the edge of modern technology that's why it is best to include the advantage of Motorcycle alarm to help them secure their investment; likewise you can assure the continuity of the business with your clients. -Motorcycle alarm is waterproof, which means it is suitable to our climate rain or shine. security guard -less motorcycle stolen. Disadvantage: -Inconveniences when your alarm malfunctions like it alarms when you are riding. -if the system malfunction, the engine stop at the middle of the road. -low battery but not always.... once you started the motorcycle your battery will recover.

Function of Electronic Components:

Capacitor device consisting two or more conducting plates separated from one another by an insulating material and used for storing an electrical charges. Resistor a coil or length of wire, used in a circuit primarily to provide resistance. Transistor composed of semiconductor material, that controls current flows. Diode use as a rectifier of alternating current, a demodulator. IC (Integrated circuit) containing many interconnected amplifying devices and circuit elements formed on a single body or chip of semiconductor. Relay device activated by a variation in conduction in one electric circuit, controlling a larger current or actuating other devices in the same or other electronic circuit.

Safety Precaution: Always check the battery of the motorcycle alarm. Always check if the alarm is on while you park it. Always check that the alarm is in the good condition to make sure it will alarm when someone try to steal it. While you are driving make sure the alarm is off.
