Case Title : Healthy working environment give healthy contribution to organization development.

Abstract : The document is about cause how a healthy working environment can contribute the professional development of a department or an organization. Situation: In a department all the employee comes from various backgrounds. So, employees have their own idea, own thinking, own interest and own culture. But in a department, we must be work in common ground. For make all those different mentalities employee in a common platform is must. Facts: a. Communication problem: This is observe that, most junior level employee when they enter the organization sometimes fear to communicate with his/her senior level employee. This also found the low level employee face similar problem, when they want to communicate with his/her superior. But for healthy working environment, this should be reduce to minimum level. Because lower level have better idea about field work than his/her superior. As in our organization, Project delivery engineer works into field level, the superior must ask in friendly way about the working problem, any new idea , development to his/her junior or low level employee. In a work, the superior must give him/her respect and realize him that, he is not only an engineer but also an assets. Group discussion , weekly meeting, written communication(like email/notes) about low level employee work is helpful. b. Uncertain organizational goal : We all know, that the future is uncertain and achieve goal is not easy. All the employee must know, what is his goal, what is the department goal. Open communication system will help to understand the goal. c. Give employee to proper appreciation : If any employee do wonderful job within the organization , must give his appreciation. If this is little success (like small scale cutover) but one appreciation email from supervisor to the participant engineer is highly motivated and give the engineer new zeal of work. d. Listen , Listen and decision: The supervisor must listen all the query from his/her department staff and think carefully. Listen the staff opinion, idea and think it very carefully. The decision making job is very critical. If needed, the supervisors must seek other supervisor help and other department activity and will take proper decision. e. Team work : In Huawei, one of the core value is Team work. We must keep this in mind, in our organization, there is not ONE MAN SHOW. Promote the team work leads the good work force. Selection the Team leader is also very critical job for an supervisor. Technical expertise not just one qualification for become a Team leader. Supervisor must think not only technical expertise, also think other human qualities like, time sense, ethics and most is common sense. Because now a days the common sense is most uncommon in the community. Sometimes profession degree (like MBA) can help the supervisor taking the decision with considering internal and external environment. f. Team building: In a department I think team building is very important for make the department strong bond. g. Give proper salary to proper person:
