METHODS AND PROCEDURES

Research Design Descriptive-survey will be applied to this research with regards to the nursing students who belong to the level III nursing students of the University of the

Cordilleras. This design is used to identify phenomenon, develop conceptual and operational definitions of variables and describe analysis. It is designed to gain more

information about the characteristics of our research which is students motivation in and its relation to teaching Research.

Locale and Population of the Study University of the Cordilleras is located at the fork of Harrison and Governor Pack Road, Baguio City, beside of Commission on election (left side) and Baguio City National High School (right side), in front of SM Baguio. The study population consists of all BSN III of the University of the Cordilleras. Data Gathering Tool The first part is the demographic data which include the name which is optional, gender and age. The second part is forming questions related to students motivation and its relation to teaching strategies used in the subject

confidential and with anonymity. Data Gathering Procedure In the gathering of data, the researcher will ask

permission from the College of Dean thru the 3rd year level area head as well as the Clinical Instructor to allow at least 15 minutes in answering the questions. Random

sampling will be used to gather data for the research. The researchers will be distributing a questionnaire to the

selected respondents which are the Level 3 student nurses of the University of the Cordilleras. The questionnaires comprise of questions that could help us in evaluating and analyzing the result of this study. Treatment of Data Slovins formula will be used to have a sample

population to have a sample population where in

Where: n = is the required sample N = is the total population e = is the error tolerance of the mean, minimum of 5% marginal error. In determining what are the teaching strategies and motivated strategies used in the subject Nursing Research that motivates the students, the weighted mean scores on the five-point Likert Scale will be used.
