Final Project Checklist - Set of Mockups for a Website

Deliverable Concept: meaningful, practical, appropriate. Page 1 cover Page 2 concept and design (colors, typography choices) explained. Indicate color harmony type that dominates in your design. Page 3 home page Page 4 text content page Page 5 images/media gallery page Page 6 single entry view page for image/media, or light box appearance Page 7 blog roll (include categories and tag cloud sidebar). Use date stamps Page 8 blog entry with the comments form and sample answer thread with avatars. Pages 9-11 events calendar page (month, week, day view). No screenshots for calendar (no Google embeds, etc.) Page 12 authors page or About page Page 13 contact page with form, address, and map Page 14 mobile version (home page only) for Android or iphone screen Pages 14-15 web identity guide: fonts, colors, typography structure, images cropping guidelines (size). Printed copy should be submitted for grading. Submit also: checklist, sketches. Indicate the targeted screen resolution. Print all the mockups with the same orientation. Readability, free space, balanced layout, consistent, logical alignment, unity.

Concept and Design

Color Palette
I chose the primary color theme as a main foundation and continuiing theme with few other colors appearing due to background and images.

Typography
I chose a recurring theme of Berlin Sans FB in bold and regular, and Myriad Pro.

Screen Resolution
Width: 960 px

Design Concept
I envisioned a portfolio design that is geometric in look and feel and has mostly primary colors to give a basic and clean look and feel which is at the same time, bright and attractive. This is why I have square blocks for images in form of grids. I used the colors to color block navigation items and borders. Given the clean and bold look an dfeel of the site, I chose a font like Berlin Sans FB because it is modern and clean and works well for a sans serif font. I used Myriad Pro very sparingly for a slight refreshment in font look.

Health Services wanted to satisfy the requirements of their internal and external stakeholders.
