OBJECTIVE OF STUDY :1) To study services provided by the private sector bank.

2) Comparative analysis of services offered by the private sector bank.

3) To study awareness about the banking products and services. 4) To find out customer satisfaction towards the banking services.

Research methodology:Definition:Generally, by the word Research We mean the objective and systematic investigation into and study of materials and sources, in order to establish facts, and reach new conclusions. (Oxford new English dictionary, Edn.2002)

Sources of data collecting:There are mainly two types of data collection:1) Primary Data:This mainly includes personal interview method on questioner method for collecting first hand data. Research has collected data from office staff etc. 2) Secondary data:This is the information which is already available in published or unpublished form. This includes data available from the bank brochures and data available through book, magazines research has collected data from various website or net.

TOOLS OF DATA COLLECTION:QUESTIONNAIRE:A questionnaire is a devise for collecting data from large, diverse and widely scattered group of people. It can be most useful tool for gathering from respondent. Keeping in mind the objective of study questionnaire are prepared.

population Population is the total area, number of person or group of person, who are the subject to the study. To determine the population is the first step of any research, it defines the boundaries of research. Area Area of the present study in Nagpur city Sample and sample size:The research has taken sample from 200 customers. Sample Size consists of both the Professional and Business class people and account holders.

Limitation of study:Area of study of the research in Nagpur city, situated shanker nagar placed in HDFC Bank or Axis Bank is situated in medial square place however the time required for the study is give by the institution about 4 month because the waste area of study relating to subject it was not possible for research to study each and every strategy adopted by both private sector bank limited so that time limitation of the study therefore the search has collected data interviewing few people the universe include only customer.

Major Finding:1) People says ATM facility is best provided by the bank. 2) The customers are still not aware of the benefits from net banking, phone banking, mobile banking services. The bank should give more emphasis on the usage of net banking, phone baking mobile banking services by giving demonstration. 3) Most of customers are availing two services in bank like ATM/Debit card, insurance.

Conclusion:1) HDFC Bank is more flexible then axis bank because it deals with mutual funds insurance etc. whereas axis bank deal with the accounts and loans etc. 2) HDFC Bank provides fast service and good facility to their customer as compare axis bank.
