INSTRUCTION
Welcome to use the C43 compass-interface of P&E(China)CO.,LTD. Usually electronic GYRO-compass are 360:1 or 180:1 Synchronous signal or Step signal almost . As there are too many different kinds of compass, the range of the incentives signal, frequency, step voltage are also different. most of the navigation equipments such as VDR,AIS,ECDIS,RADAR,INMARSAT and so on which were requested compass NMEA-0183 signal, but the old type equipment could not satisfy requirement. P&E-C43 could deal with this problem. It could transform all type from 360:1 synchronous signal or 180:1 step signal to standard NMEA-0183 data, and display the data on the LED. This data was perfectly meet sentence by the IEC61162 standard ($HEHDT &HEROT $HEHDG). It was two points output RS-422 signal which could directly drive the optocoupler input circuit. P&E-C43 could be used for interface by many electronic compass such as Arma-BrownC-PlathSperryRobertsonTKCAnshutzHokushinetc. Synchronous signal input was 360:1 and voltage 20-160V and frequency 50/ 60/ 40 0 Hz. Step signal was 180:1 and voltage 24-70V and positive reference or negative reference. The synchronous type 360:1 GYRO-compass interface which was incentive by 50 Voltage was applied to Anshutz STD4STD6STD12Hokushin C1 C2C3C-Plath Navigat2 and Navigat3 etc. The synchronous type 360:1 GYRO-compass interface which was incentive by 115 Voltage was applied to homemade navigating instrument CLP-2 and DH-2, import AmurArma brown Funkwerke Kopendick etc. The stepper type 80:1 GYPO-compass interface which was 24-70 Voltage input was applied to DH-2Sperry series etc. The synchronous type 90:1 GYRO-compass interface which was incentive by 100 Voltage was applied to TKC series ES-11ES-110 etc. For 90:1 GYRO compass, which was need to contact the manufacturer to get the specially chip procedures ordering. Our production provided FURUNO AD-10 format.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION
1. power control
As there is no power switch on the equipment surface panel, the equipment will turn itself on automatically when the power cable was connected. The initial perspective of the compass should be adjusted by plus button and minus button.

2. dimmer control
The LED brightness was adjusted by the knob on the panel. Clockwise will be increase the brightness and counterclockwise was decrease the brightness.

3. set up initial compass perspective

P&E-C43 can't automatic track the data of the compass perspective when it power off, so you need to set up the current compass navigation data. Use the two bottoms on the surface to adjust the compass data, it will increase or decrease 0.1 degree each time you push the button, and hold on 5 seconds each time, change 1 degree; hold on f 10 seconds each time, change 10 degree.
