ESSAY

This morning is sunny, cool dew, and the warmth of the sun became the inspiration of earlier today. First April, I was getting important information from the Subbag Kemahasiswaan FIK Unpad about scholarship from Van Deventeer-Maas Stichting. Therefore, the presence of this letter before you, I want to try to become one of the students who received scholarships from Van Deventer-Maas Stiching. Starting from the profile, my full name is Dedi Suhendi. I am a citizen of Indonesia, sundanese from Serang, November 18th, 1989. My educational journey started since primary school at SDN PADEK 1 (1996-2002), secondary school in SMP 1 Kasemen (2002-2005), and high school in SMAN 1 Kasemen (2005-2008), Serang. While still studying at Padjadjaran University Major Nursing Faculty on final semester (VIII). Since childhood, I like to exercise and follow the positive activities such as extra-curricular, organizational, and sport. I am of a happy family with my father and my beloved mother, Warka (63) and Acih (59). Both of my parents lived in the street Sawah Luhur Kp. Cikedung, Banten. My parents worked as farmers, and almost all the necessities of life is filled from the farm. For me, being the son of a farmer is not a problem but a pride. My family supports all activities that I do of course with the advice and follow their counsels. Even for reaching my aspiration, they are willing to sacrifice all soul, body, and possessions to their son. Padjadjaran University is the pride of my university. Here is a place that contributed to increase my knowledge and skills. All people are scrambling to become a student at this university. Because as we all know, Padjadjaran University is one of the state university pride of Indonesia. University graduates is the best print and some to be a figure in this country. Many achieved national accomplishments, international level too. In life, I like associate with all people, with different backgrounds. Spare time, I usually spend time with the following campus activities or outside. For example campus activities such as discussions, studies, seminars, training, and other. In outside activities, I usually follow the private of learning, exhibitions, blogging, graphic design, playing musical instruments, sports, and more. Since childhood I have the dream of being a successful entrepreneur in any field such as property, art, and health. To get it, I learned to start setting goals is to deepen knowledge about business and apply in life. On several occasions, I attended seminars and business entrepreneurship. But that's not enough if I did not apply my big plan. In practice, I find it difficult to build this plan, like constraints management, technical, and financial. Therefore, I am interested in following the selection of this scholarship program as an attempt to overcome the obstacles to building my great plan. Thus, a short essay related to my life, family, school, and motivation are applying for this scholarship. I hope and pride is a part in Scholarships Van Deventer-Maas Stiching.
