So that workers can work in a better condition. From furnace molten brass is poured into water coded jackets to cool it. All the furnaces are hydraulically filed billets are formed from jacket, which are lifted with lift. Billets are cut into pieces & before casting, testing is done in laboratory. There are two electro photo spectrometers which check the chemical composition of metals with precise accuracy. Theses billets are cut in to pieces by cutter machine. Then they are marked with different heat number. To do extrusion billets are preheated 650C-700C by automatic billet feeder in pre-heating furnace.

Then red-hot billets are put into Extruder where extrusion takes place. Pressure applied is 600 tones. There are 16 holes and it brings out desired shape. As the diameter decreases, length increases. Figure no. 6 Extruder machine PICKING PROCESS It is done to remove the oxide layers, which is generated after extrusions. Delta sulphuric acid is used for this process, Then cleaned in pure water. POINTING It is done by sorting the width of the end, which is done for cold drawing. COLD DRAWING It is done to get the actual size, final dimensions and final finish. It is passed through Dies of CARBIDE as are of long lasting life. Drawing compound Drawing mat is used to keep rod and die cool. Here scrapping is not done but cold drawing pressing is done. Two process lines are there. Heavy duty above 1st and 2nd up to 1 inch. Rod size is from 2mm 100mm.

FRACTURE TESTING It is done to remove blow holes. Fractured metal are again melted. It is cutter still blow holes are not present. Cut half then hammered manually if it is of blow holes it is easily breaks. STRAIGHTNING PROCESS: Straightning is done by different rollers, square, hexagon, six straightening machines are there. REALING PROCESS: It is possible only on round rod to have a very fine finish on the surface. 7 realing machines are there. Up to 50mm. above is done in extrusion. INSPECTION: It is done for final dimension checking. Inspection report is made. It is weighted and then it is ready for dispatch. Each and every bundle has tag, where size, weight, piece and bundles are mentioned. Weighing machine is digital named ATCODIGI. In one furnace daily 10 heats are done. Six billets are made. Rod sizes are up to 30 ft. MARKING: It is done according to different heats.

Hypothesis formulation
Hypothesis is usually considered as the principal instrument in research. Its main function is to suggest new experiments and observations. Hypothesis means assumption regarding all results before going on experiments. Procedure for testing hypothesis:Null hypothesis:If we compare method A with method B about its superiority and if we precede on the assumption that both methods are equally good, then this assumption is termed as null hypothesis. It means that there is no significant difference between methods. Null hypothesis is symbolized by Ho. Alternative hypothesis:As against null hypothesis, we may think that the method A is superior or the method B is inferior, we are then stating what is termed as alternative hypothesis. It means that there is a significant difference between two methods. Alternative hypothesis is symbolized by Ha.
Page | 68

Level of significant:This is very important concept in the context of hypothesis testing. It is always some percentage (usually 5%) which should be chosen with great care, thought and reason. In case we take the significance level at 5% then this implies that Ho will be rejected when the sampling result (observed evidence) has a less than 0.5 probability of occurring if Ho is true. Thus the significance level is the maximum value of probability of rejecting Ho when it is true and is usually determined in advance before the testing the hypothesis.

LITERATURE REVIEW: Review no. 1 The Canadian International Trade Tribunals (CITT) Internal Audit Plan for 2004-05 to 2008-09 identified the requirement for a review of its Human Resources (HR) function.

The objective of this review was to advise senior management on the efficiency, economy and effectiveness of the policies, procedures and controls of the CITTs Human Resources (HR) function.

The study focused on HR services and issues affecting the service delivery framework. Consequently, the interests of HR clients who rely on these services were taken into account in the conduct of the review.

Review no. 2 This research is undertaken by Ankur in July 24 2009 in this study all human resource functions were considered. Human resource may be defined in this research as the total knowledge, creative abilities, talents and aptitudes of an organizations workforce, as well as the values, attitudes, approaches and beliefs of the individuals involved in the affairs of the organization.

Page | 75

Review no. 3 This review was given by Brief and wises in 2002. According to them Human Resources (HR) is an exciting function, which offers many opportunities for individuals to contribute to the business. At all levels of the company, HR professionals support leaders and leadership teams in the creation of business strategies and in ensuring the resources are ready and available to deliver those strategies. Nevertheless, human resources (HR) seems to be losing ground in a majority of organizations (Saint-Onge, 2001). In most cases, human resources appear to be playing a secondary role at a time when this function should be more in demand and more valued. The HR function continues to be criticized for not moving with the times. The forces of the market have radically altered the 'employment contract', yet the people management practices do not seem to have followed suit. In the face of all this, the human resources function is often perceived as slow to adapt to the new realities of the market place.
