First Meeting A. INTRODUCTION

1. The teacher presents to the class a set of pictures.


These are: pictures expressing happiness and sadness. Then the teacher asks: Based on these pictures, what do you think are these pictures telling you? If these pictures speak of someones feelings, what do you think are the ways of expressing ones emotions aside from expressing it in the face . B. INTERACTION 1. The teacher says: If your answer is essay? Then, what is an essay? Then the teacher calls some students to answer the question. Then the teacher confirms the answer. 2. The teacher asks:If you? The teacher acquaints the class to Petrarchan and Shakespearean sonnets. Then she promptly explains the characteristics of each sonnet.
