DAILY LESSON PLAN


I. PREPARATION

Overall Objectives
to be able to understand the poem to be able to learn the classroom objects to be able to say the names of the classroom objects correctly

to be able to choose the correct option to be able to match the words given in the box with the correct pictures to be able to fill in the blanks by looking at the pictures to be able to match descriptions with the objects to be able to write a poem as in the example to be able to solve the puzzle to be able to work in groups

Behavioral Objectives At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
say the names of the classroom objects correctly

II.PRESENTATION
1- Motivation The teacher greets the students saying, Good afternoon class! Then, she asks them How are you, today? They reply, Fine, thanks and you? The teacher says, I am fine. Then, she goes on, Are you ready for the lesson? Before we start the lesson, lets play a game.

2- Warm-up As a warm up activity the students play a game. One of the students goes out and the teacher hides a classroom object. When coming to the class, s/he tries to find the object. Her/his friends help her/him by saying s like a snake when s/he comes closer to the object; otherwise, they say z like a bee. Thanks to this game, the students get ready for the lesson. 3- Stating the Instructional Objectives After performing the warm up activity, the teacher informs the students about what the next step will be by explaining the overview of the lesson. 3- Presenting the Instructional Objectives Firstly, the teacher reads a poem related to the classroom objects and wants one of the students to read aloud. Then, she shows the classroom objects on the board one by one and wants the students to repeat them after her. Finally, she shows pen, pencil, book etc. and the students are supposed to say the names of the objects correctly and quickly.

III. PRACTICE
In the practice part, firstly the students are supposed to choose the correct option. For

example,

IV. PRODUCTION
At this stage the students write a poem by looking at the exercise and using the classroom objects they have learnt.

V. SUMMARY
Before finishing the lesson, the teacher wants the class to work in groups and solve the puzzle given. Then in a few words the teacher summarizes the lesson by saying Today we have learnt the classroom objects. If there isnt any problem, thats all for today.
