Pupil is divided in a group of four and given work sheet A. Pupils are required to discuss then stated their answers and reasons.

Experiment: Magnetic and Non-magnetic Materials

Script: - On the table in front they are few items that I want you to test with the magnet that I will pass on to you. - But before we start, can anybody answer my question. What is the name of each end of a Magnet? (While distributing the magnet to the class)

Pupils are require to test and mark down the material that have magnetic properties, then mark result on worksheet A. -each group sent a representative to present their result of the experiment. Answer: made of iron or steel

After the experiment. Script : -Base on the result of the experiment just now. Who can tell me, what make the material to have magnetic properties? Script: - Earlier we have watch X-men video and watch how evil Magneto is. - Now class in your group draw me a new superhero that is magnet proof. So that he can attack the evil Magneto. I want you all to list all the material used for the superhero costume and also maybe weapons or tools.

Creating a new superhero that is magnet proof.

-Pupils in group decide on the material that they want used on the superhero costume and tools or weapons, and draw the superhero. -Each group sends a representative to make a presentation to explain why they choose the material for their superhero.
