Computer networks are an integral part of business, and demand for these workers will increase as rms continue to invest in new technologies. e increasing adoption of mobile technologies means that more establishments will use the Internet to conduct business online. is growth translates into a need for systems administrators who can help organizations use technology to communicate with employees, clients, and consumers. Growth will also be driven by the increasing need for information security.

PC AGE provides high quality career services to its graduates and helps them secure jobs in the exciting IT eld. Our friendly sta helps students build condence, prepare professional resumes and polish interviewing skills. We also set up job interviews with employers that have been hiring our graduates for years. Preparation for a job in the IT eld starts from the rst course. Each core course has a companion course that focuses on two main objectives: 1. Students are prepared for a technical job interview. is is achieved by asking and explaining hundreds of technical interview questions. Students also get prepared for the related certication exam. Students are ready to start a job. is is achieved by real world Projects which students are supposed to complete with minimum help from the instructor.

Resume and Cover Letter Development An eective resume and cover letter must reect personality of the student. It must emphasize on technical skills as well as unique transferable skills. We work one-on-one with the student to make sure that he/she has an eective resume and cover letter to generate job interviews. Job Search Techniques As most jobs are never advertised, students are taught how to search for a job using the most eective, proven methods instead of just relying on help wanted ads. Personal and Technical Interview Preparation Many people are qualied but not really prepared to answer basic questions about themselves or talk about their strengths/skills. We help our students identify their major strengths and describe them with ease by using mock interviews and role-play sessions. Preparation for a technical interview is done by one of our full time instructors who is responsible to make sure that the student is ready for the technical interview.
Going to PC AGE was one of the best decisions I made for my IT career. Presently, I am working as a Windows Support Administrator making $50k. e instructors and sta are the best. ey provide hands-on labs which help you understand how networks work. What took me 2 weeks to learn in college, took me 2 hours to learn from one of the instructors at PC AGE. I will never forget my time at PC AGE! I had a good learning experience at PC AGE. CompTIA A+ certication validates the latest skills needed by todays computer support professionals. It is an international, vendorneutral certication recognized by major hardware and software vendors, distributors and resellers. A+ certication conrms a technicians ability to perform tasks such as installation, conguration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking. e exams also cover domains such as security, safety and environmental issues and communication and professionalism. A+ certication is part of the certication track for corporations such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco and Novell. Other technology companies, including CompuCom and Ricoh, have made CompTIA A+ certication mandatory for their service technicians. Technical Role Examples: IT Technician, Enterprise Technician, PC Technician, Desktop Support Technician, Field Technician, PC Support Specialist, Help Desk. CompTIA Network+ certication validates the knowledge and skills of networking professionals. It is an international, vendor-neutral certication that recognizes a technicians ability to describe the features and functions of networking components and to install, congure and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols and services. e demand for skilled network support professionals continues to grow, and the Network+ certication is a valuable credential to help start or enhance a networking career. In fact, many IT certications integrate Network+ into their curriculums. Microsoft added CompTIA Network+ certication into their Microsoft Certied Systems Administrator (MCSA) program, and other corporations such as Novell, Cisco, HP, Lotus and 3Com also recognize CompTIA Network+ as part of their certication tracks. What does CAT measure? is test measures your analytical and problem-solving skills. It also measures how logically you think, how much attention you pay to details, and how closely you follow rules. ese skills are required for computer professions such as Systems Analyst, Programmer, Network Manager, Network Engineer, Network Administrator, and PC/Network Technician. ese are not the only skills needed for these positions. As with other professions, you also need motivation, integrity, productivity, and the ability to communicate, work in a team, follow instructions, and manage your time. is test measures your natural aptitude for computers and problemsolving. Degree From
By focusing on industry certications and creating an articulation agreement with omas Edison State College (TESC), PC AGE oers a career-focused, hands-on oriented and regionally accredited college degree to its students through TESC. Up to 39 of credits earned at PC AGE can be transferred towards an Associates/Bachelors degree from TESC. Students have to take only 7 general education courses (21credits) to earn their AS degree. Six of 21 credits can be earned by just passing the exams.
