Political culture in Georgia Political culture are sustained or changed as people acquire their attitudes and values.Political socialization refers to the way in which political values are formed and the political culture is transmitted from one generation to the next. Most children acquire their basic political values and behavior patterns by adolescence. Some of these attitudes will envolve and change throughout their lives, while other attitudes may remain part of their political self throughout life. Individuals in all societies are affected by agents of political socialization:individuals, organizations and institutions that influence political attitudes. Some like civics courses in schools, are direct and deliberate sources of political learning.Others, like playgroups and work groups, affect political socialization indirectly. Case about eight agents of political socialization in Georgia. The first is the family. The direct and indirect influences of the family are normally powerful and lasting. The family has distinctive influences on attitudes toward authority.Similarly, unquestioning obedience to parental decisions may lead a child toward a role as a political subject. The family also shapes future political attitudes by defining a social position for the child:establishing ethnic, linguistic, class and religious ties, affirming cultural values and influencing job aspirations. Second is schools.Schools educate children about politics and their role in the process, provide them with information on political institutions and relationships.Education also affects the political skills and resources of the public.Educated people are more aware of government on their lives and pay more attention to politics.School system in Georgia today is more developed than ten years ago.The teachers are more aducational and have a sense of responsibility.I think, that it will be better that connect with children and teachers will more good and students are having possibility, that having their own views and opinions about everything. There are many religious institutions in Georgia.Georgia is a very religious country, where the institute of church has a very prominent role in the life of the society.Being a well-institutionalized and inependent civil society actor the church is often a mediator between the people it represents and the state itself. In order to evaluate how important a religion is in the life of the Georgian society and how the influence of a religion is reflected in the attitudes of the people toward life,it is necessary to explore several other variables as well.

Interest groups, economic groups and similar organizations also shape political attitudes. Most of the major business interests professional associations, unions, unregulated utilities and social-issue groups have established PACs.One important exeption is Georgia Power. As a regulated utility,it is statutorily prohibited from forming a PAC.In Georgia are many interest groups, besides that they can not enougt resources and posibility that make more and improve situation in Georgia. In my opinion it will be better that all non-governmental organization are being very careful and make many good things in spite of that government permanently try that obstruction their works. Georgian legislation provides for a free establishment and operation of political parties and contains safeguards against state interference with the activities of political groups. While parties normally operate without government pressure, there have been cases of intimidation and violence against opposition activists which have not been addressed properly by the law enforcers. Political parties also lack effective procedures for internal democratic governance and their ability to aggregate and represent social interests is very limited. There are some 190 registered political parties in Georgia, although only about a dozen of these have been more or less actively involved in the country's political life in recent years. A number of Georgia's leading opposition parties are currently not represented in parliament as they gave up theirseats in the legislature in protest against alleged irregularities during the May 2008 elections, and currently only one opposition party, the Christian Democrats, holds a more or less significant number of Parliamentary seats (several small parties hold one parliamentary seat each). A dominant ruling party and a fragmented opposition that has been unable to come together have been continuous features of Georgia's political system since the 1990's. Today, Georgia's media is less free and pluralistic than it was before the Rose Revolution in 2003 and the ousting of President Eduard Shevardnadze. While the country enjoys a pluralistic, albeit small print media, Georgia lacks a truly pluralistic television sector. Television remains the dominant source of information for most Georgians. We have 27 independent channels in Georgia, we have dozens of political talk shows every day, President Mikheil Saakasvhili stated in an interview with CNN on October 15th. In fact, there are more than 27 channels in Georgia. However, it remains unclear, who actually owns and controls most of the country's TV stations. In conclusion I think that eight agents of political socialization in Georgia are very important thing, that have influence on Georgian political culture.
