Dearly Beloved People of God, Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Our Lord Jesus is called by many names in the Bible. Here are a few of them :- Advocate, Alpha and Omega, Anointed, Author and Finisher of our Faith, Bread of Life, Bright and Morning Star, Chosen of God, the Son of God, Cornerstone, Captain of our Salvation, Deliverer, Good Shepherd, High Priest, Head of the Church, Holy One of God, King of Kings, Lamb of God, Light of the World, Lion of Judah , Lord of Lords, Lord of Glory, Man of Sorrows, Word of God, Wonderful Counsellor, Emmanuel and the list goes on and on. Today I want to think of JESUS as Emmanuel. When Angel Gabriel appeared before Mary to proclaim the virgin birth he mentioned to her to give the child the name JESUS meaning Emmanuel which was to mean God with us. That is why one of the most comforting names given to Jesus the Christ, is Emmanuel, God with us. Because of the indwelling Christ his believers are never separated from His presence. What assurance and what comfort we have in that awesome name. We who are his own, have a shoulder to lean on. We always have someone to listen to our pain, sorrow and difficulties in- our Best Friend Jesus. That is why Joseph Scriven wrote that well known hymn What a Friend we have in Jesus all our sins and griefs to bear having experienced a period of trials and hardship that he went through during his life. The gods of other faith are usually in some far off remote corner. But the same is not true with our God. Once he is in us, he will never leave us, forget us or abandon us. The promise Jesus gave to us was Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20) Dear Child of God, dont allow our adversary and accuser to rob you of the peace and joy that comes from experiencing and enjoying the sweet presence of our Lord Jesus. Neither sin nor trial can ever diminish the full presence and acceptance of Jesus Christ ONCE you have become his child through faith. God is for You and is with you always. He loves you very dearly. May his presence fill you and guide you as you continue your walk with him all the days of your life. With Much Blessings! Pastor Srikanthan

I am sharmila Mahesh Kumar and I would like to share my experience during my church camp at El Rancho in Waikanai. It all happened in the evening of the 28 April 2012. Bro. GPS Robinson from India led the anointing session on that evening. I am basically from Hindu community. I believed that all gods were same. When there was an altar call to receive the Holy Spirit, I went forward to be prayed for. When Bro. GPS prayed for me, the Lord made me surrender my past and accept a new beginning. I felt anointed by the Holy Spirit and felt the presence of God in me. The Lord touched me and blessed me abundantly. My life has been transformed after the camp. Now I believe that Christ is my saviour. It is really an unforgettable moment in my life. After that day I spent more time on reading the Lord's word and in prayer. I thank god and praise Him for blessing me and our family.

WHO IS YOUR DADDY?

A seminary professor was vacationing with his wife in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. One morning they were eating breakfast at a little restaurant hoping to enjoy a quiet family meal. While they were waiting for their food to be served, they noticed a distinguished looking white haired man moving from table to table visiting with the guests. The professor leaned over and whispered to his wife I hope he does not come over here. Sure enough, the man did come over to their table. Where are you folks from? He asked in a friendly voice. Oklahoma they answered. Great to have you here in Tennessee the stranger said. what do you do for a living? I teach at a seminary he replied. So you teach preachers how to preach do you? Well, I have got a really great story for you and with that the gentleman pulled up a chair and sat down at the table with the couple. The professor groaned and thought to himself great. Just what I need...another preacher story. The man started see that mountain over there?(pointing out the restaurant window). Not far from the base of that mountain ,there was a boy born to an unwed mother. He had a hard time growing up ,because every place he went, he was always asked the same question Hey boy Whos your daddy? Whether he was at school, at the grocery store people would ask the same question who is your daddy? He would hide at recess and lunchtime from other students. He would avoid going into stores because that question hurt him so bad. When he was 12 years old a new preacher came to his church. And still, this kid would always go in late and slip out early to avoid hearing the question, who is your daddy? But one the day the new preacher said the benediction so fast he got caught and had to walk out with the crowd. Just about the time he got to the back door, the new preacher, not knowing anything about him, put his hands on his shoulder and asked him, son where is your daddy? The crowd around the preacher and the boy got deathly quiet. He could feel every eye there, were gazing at him. Now everyone would finally know the answer to that question, who is your daddy? This preacher, though, sensed the situation around him and using discernment that only the Holy Spirit could give said the following to the scared boy...wait a minute! I know who you are! I see the family resemblance now. You are a child of GOD. With that he patted the boy on his back and said Son you have a great inheritance. Go and claim it. With that, the boy smiled for the first time in a long while and walked out of the door a changed person. He was never the same person again. Whenever anyone asked him that question he would now say I am a child of GOD. The distinguished gentleman got up from the table and said, isnt that a great story?. The professor responded that it really was a great story! As the man turned to leave, he said, You know, if that new preacher hadnt told me that I was one of Gods children, I probably never would have amounted to anything! And he walked away. The seminary professor and his wife were stunned. He called the waitress over and asked her do you know who that man was- the one who just left that was sitting at our table? The waitress grinned and said Of course. Everybody here knows him. Thats Ben Cooper. Hes the former Governor of the state of Tennessee ! Someone in your life needs a reminder that they are one of Gods children.

This is beautiful - and it is surely worth making the 5 finger prayer a part of our lives. 1. Your thumb - is nearest you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a 'sweet duty.' 2. The next finger - is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers. 3. The next finger - is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance. 4. The fourth finger - is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger, as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them. 5. And lastly comes our little finger - the smallest finger of all which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, 'The least shall be the greatest among you.' Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively. - Sent to us by Sis.
