It covers the issue of women not having as much legal right as men, which forces Nora to forge her fathers signature in order to save her husbands life. In the end result Nora learns that her husband is more concerned with his image than the stability of their marriage and is forced to go out in the world and learn to survive on her own. Plot: Torvald gets sick, Nora takes a loan from Krogstad and forges her fathers signature, Nora saves Torvalds life, Torvald fires Krogstad, Krogstad blackmails Nora, Torvald finds out about the loan, Torvald bashes Noras character, Nora heart broken walks out on Toarvald.

Torvald threatens to not take Noras side and let the shame and blame all fall on her in order to save his own good name. Nora came to a realization that Torvald isnt willing to protect her and wants out of the relationship.

15. How do you think you did on this scene? Did you improve over the semester? What challenges did you face? What did you think you did well and what do you want to work on as you move forward with your acting studies? Use any appropriate reflections from your journals to respond to these questions. (use the reverse side of this page if additional space is needed). I believe I did well in my scene. Yes I feel I improved over the semester because I learned not only to recite my lines but to respond to the other characters. Staying in character in the middle of minor pauses was a bit of a challenge for me, but I believe I executed it well. I think I memorized and prepared for my final performances well, but I would like to improve on the depth of my research skills; such as character background, applying tactics, and finding beats.
