PROCESS OF REVELATION
Lift the veil; to remove the cover; access to a new realm; reveals what already is there To accelerate a fresh event depends on hunger His focus of revelation is our personal transformation Revelation enlarges our capacity of faith (1 Cor 8:1)

ESTABLISH TESTIMONY
Written or spoken Word of what God has done Ark of testimony (Ex 25:10-22) Seal with testimony Testimony of Jesus (Rev 19:10) Demonstration of power and miraculous (John 4:12) Testimonies connect generations to promise (Ps 78:5) New expectations comes from remembering Build memorials to remind us

PROPHETIC PHENOMENA AND EVANGELISM

To engage in direct or indirect evangelism via insight by prophetic engagement or simply receiving a good idea Prophetic evangelist is primed for the market- place and public meetings (1 Becomes a lifestyle of personal priority to gather senses of insight and other activities for the outcome of evangelism and church plants 2) Ask God for more of the prophetic mystery (Matt 7:11) 3) Maintain a constant state of readiness, listen for the Holy Spirits promptings obey them 4) Start with believers, (Matt 25:21), God will turn a few into many, live with risk! 5)Guard yourself against impurity (Matt 5:8) We will SEE perfectly 6) Cultivate compassion for the lost (Matt 9:36) 7) Dont let the devil stop you (Phil 4:13). His lies immobilise us shuts us down 8) Get close to anointed practitioners 9) Commit to a person of learning (1 Cor 11:1)

ANGELIC ACTIVITY
(Psalm 104:3-4, :30) As we walk the winds of faith - so angels wait in the wings to do our biding, laughing as they accompany us on the same wind! (Job 32:8) Let this exact science of Gods principles flow through us to manifest His glory. Grieve not the Spirit - wrong agendas Quench not the Spirit - stop the flow

Lesson 2 BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

ACT 1:8, 2:4

They saw the Spirit descending as a dove and remain on Him (John 1:32) Most High will overshadow you (Luke 1:35) He will baptize with the Holy Spirit & fire (Matt 3:11) Jesus is empowered by the Spirit that rests upon Him. He opens His first sermon with The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me (Luke 4:18) His dependence was always upon the power of the Spirit: (Luke 4:14)

PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION Edify Exhort Comfort Giving to every man as He wills. (1 Cor 12:11) These gifts are given by the Holy Spirit. The Church

TONGUES

Definition Supernatural utterance in various unknown languages Understanding comes only when interpretation is immediately given. Conclusion 1. Evidence of Baptism of the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues 2. The manifestation of the Gift of tongues must be accompanied by an interpretation (I Cor 14:13) 3. Tongues can be spoken:

I Cor 14:13 Interpretation (for the Body) 1 Cor 14:5 Manifestation of the Spirit (for the Body) INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES Companion Gift Interpretation is the friend of Diversity of tongues. You cannot give a tongues message in a public sense unless it is given the meaning. Note it is an interpretation and not a translation - our personality, articulation and knowledge play an important part. (I Cor 14:13) If He wants to use you do no suppress the Holy Spirit, you will only feel worse (1 Thess 5:19-20) The interpretation is toward God if the tongue is toward God but can also be from God. (1 Cor 14:2)

PROPHECY
The purpose of the gift is to: Build up the Church (not pull it down) Edify, exhort and comfort It is false prophecy if not one of these and needs correction. Human fallibility requires that prophecy be judged. Four Categories Eph 4 Office 1 Cor 12 Rom 12 Rev 19:10 Gift Personality Spirit

Lesson 03

GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT - WORD OF WISDOM

Spiritual matters with natural means. (Job 32:8) A fragment of Divine wisdom supernaturally imparted by the Holy Spirit. Often goes together with the Word of Knowledge. (Prov 1:1-7) We can have: o natural wisdom o wisdom gained from academic achievement o wisdom from experience o wisdom from understanding the Bible

WORD OF WISDOM
Deut 34:9 Joshua received the Spirit of Wisdom by the laying on of Moses hands 1 Kings 3:5 Solomon received by a Sovereign act of God understanding heart for all occasions. Acts 2:23 There are two elements that constitute this special wisdom. and

INSIGHT and FORESIGHT

Acts 4:28 God not only knows what is going to be but He determines it. The Word of Wisdom can be deemed as Miracle Wisdom.

WORD OF KNOWLEDGE God knows every fact about people, places and things He is conscious of them all the time. Cant study to have this gift - it is not of human understanding. It is supernatural impartation for a Divine Purpose. Goes hand in hand with Word of Wisdom. Can come through dreams, visions or private prayer or just register on your spirit.

Jesus operated often in a personal way to draw the individuals attention to the fact that He was the Son of God. (John 14:7, 4:18, Luke 19:5,Math 12:25, 17:27, 21:2)

DISCERNING OF SPIRITS
Gives insight into the spiritual world both good and bad spirits. The Great Commission includes this gift (Mark 16:17) Sources of Spiritual Manifestations Divine Spirit God Jesus Holy Spirit Human Spirit Own spirit rather than impulse from Holy Spirit Evil Spirits obsession oppression depression recession possession Angels

GIFT OF FAITH
(1 COR 12:9-10) ATOMIC REACTOR!!
Special supernatural impartation for a given situation. The manifestation through us by the Holy Spirit causes a SHIFT in the circumstance Takes over where our faith is inadequate A mountain-moving, wine-making, demon-driving, storm-calming kind of faith. Works together with all the Gifts or as necessary.

It cannot be silent in the ministers ministry!

GIFTS OF HEALING Speaking things into being (Matt 10:20) A gift of plurality different kinds of diseases so different types of healing administered through different people. Four major channels of Healing: Diving Healing (sovereign work of Jesus) Ex 15:26 Gift of Healing (through somebody else) 1 Cor 12:28 Signs following Ministry: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists Acts 2:43 Believers Healing (Mark 16:17) Great Commission

Purpose of healing:
To deliver the sick and to destroy the works of the devil To prove Christs claim to be the Son of God To confirm His Word (1 John 3:8, Acts 10:38, Luke 3:16 Luke 7:22) To attract people to believe the Gospel (Mal 4:2, John 10:36) To bring glory to God To release the oppressed (Mark 16:17, Mark 22) Other methods of healing: John 9 Spit and mud Matt 8 Spoken Word Mark 5 Laying on of hands Mark 5 Touching garments and cloths 1 Cor 11 Lords Supper James 5 Anoint with oil Stimulants for Gods Healing Process 1. Compassion Gods love in action Mark 1:41, Mark 6:37, John 8:11,Ps 145:8-9 Compassion is Divine sympathy is human God works through a compassionate person to inspire faith to receive. 2. Passion Love God, love people ( Matt 22:37-39) Hate disease and the devil (Acts 10:38, 1 John 3:8) Driving urge to be involved, to speak, to lay hands - for the Holy Spirit to flow through you Boldness to perform Willing to pay the price (Is 50:4-7)

WORKING OF MIRACLES
No other option but to walk in power! Everything God does is miraculous. A miracle is a SUPERNATURAL INTERVENTION by the force of the Spirit in the ordinary course of nature as we know it. Gift of faith receives miracles Working of miracles works the miracle Two gifts working together Promises: John 14:12 Jesus promised His power would continue after His departure. The Working of Miracles is the enabling of the Holy Spirit giving the believer the ability to WORK A MIRACLE

SIGNS FOLLOWING MINISTRY

Signs following ministry given by Jesus. Eph 4 Function comes before Definition Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist likely to have a healing gift attached to their ministry. Constant Traits 1. Authority in their words Vessels of honour 2 Tim 2:21 Ambassadors for Christ 2 Cor 5:20 Gods fellow workers 1 Cor 3:9 Chosen for mighty deeds Mark 16:18 Divine authority will be manifested in the Word and sermons. 2. Full of the Spirit Presence and anointing of the Lord. (2 Cor 3:17) 3. Word that inspires Faith (Rom 10:17) Totally believing the Word for today (Heb 13:8) Abound in faith, remind us of Gods promises Gift of faith always present around them (1 Cor 12:8) 4. Testimonies Will urge people to share what God has done inspiring faith in others and bringing honour to the Lord. (Ps 105:1-2, Mark 5:19-20 5 Gods power transmitted through them Greatest force on earth is the compassion of our Lord Jesus (Acts 10:38) Gods Spirit is tangible and material substance (1 Thess 5:23) Recipients of Gods living energy in addition to normal energy His nature, His Life, His Being in ours (Acts 17:28), They live and breath Gods gift in them 6. Give Glory to God Always glorifying God and inspiring others to glorify Him. (Ps 22:3) God expects praise from us continually and especially for His mighty works!

Lesson 6

PRACTICAL APPLICATION
1. Gatherings. Power of agreement. Create atmosphere 2. Use the knowledge of God to produce faith 3. Seek the method of the Spirits intention 4. Help people to relax. Create an environment 5. Dont talk too much 6. Dont stay too long 7. Corporate anointing can help or hinder. Be wise 8. Guard yourself from unbelief by others 9. Use an example of someone healed 10.Take control of the prayer time. Use commands 11. Dont feel let down if you have to pray again 12. Kingdom advances as the sick are healed 13. Use companion gifts to raise faith levels 14. Jesus used action words GO, STRETCH, ARISE 15. One person is as important to Jesus as 100 16. Dont grieve the Holy Spirit 17. Jesus always encountered opposition 18. Fear always wins 19. Understanding and taking advantage on Gods seasons of healing 20. The last person healed is the best person to pray through 21.
