STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Right from my childhood I have felt that my interest lies in managing people, be it in school days or my in college. I always dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur but I wanted to materialize it. I wanted to make sure that when I enter the global arena, I am well prepared to face all kind of challenges. I decided to have some experience and then enter the market. My passion for learning new things, dedication and innovative ideas has always helped me to hit the targets and achieving my goals. In my XII, I was always fascinated towards Boolean Algebra and coding stuffs. This made me realized of my logical potential. Scored 397 rank in National Science Olympiad and was a constant topper of my school, Central Academy. While pursuing my B. Tech degree in Electronics and Communication, I have developed strong analytical and problem solving skills. During my graduation, I served as the Public Relation Officer (PRO) of ISTE Students Chapter, Nirma University, and utilised the opportunity to interact with various media personals. Technical festivals, cultural nights and social events gave me the exposure of managing the subordinates under the guidance of faculties and peer support which inculcated in me the art of team building. I am a frequent participant of chess, coding events, robotic events and business plan events. My elective of Human Resource Management was my step towards making a base for the management studies. I have made a few innovative projects like USB Programmer and worked on Video Transcoding. USB Programmer helped the students to program their microcontroller easily from their homes while Video Transcoding was a research driven project. I did my summer internship at ONGC, Dehradun in SCADA, and currently I am pursuing my major project at ISRO, Jodhpur. Internships have provided a slight insight of how the stuff works in government organizations providing me a practical sight of it. After completing my graduation I want to take my next step towards achieving my goal. MBA which would provide me an all round development of my management skills would help me coming closer to my goal. It would inculcate in me the required skills for challenging the market with my strong analytical base. And NMIMS, with such an outstanding pedagogy which encourages intellectual curiosity and open minds to the adventure of ideas, along with its excellent alumni and strong corporate interface is the best place to learn organizational theories and how they are put in practice.
