Provide administrative support to the HR Generalists as well as coordinating project work. Assist managers and employees on HR internal processes, policies & legal regulations. Respond to general HR queries and ensuring their follow-up. Develop and maintain HR files and records in line with either Covance policies or provisions of local laws. Be familiar with HR legal regulations of supported countries/states. Provides administrative support to the HR Shared Services organization with emphasis on recruitment coordination and interview scheduling Processes appropriate pre-employment screening. Ensures pre-employment screening has been completed Processes offer letters and new hire packages, and sends internal notifications. Initiates and completes new hire paperwork. Sends appropriate new hire paperwork to Business Unit HR departments. Receives and tracks employee referrals. Sends appropriate communication to referred candidate. Entry of employee and/or HR program information into various HR systems. Responsible for auditing data entry of other members of the HR Shared Services Operations. Ensure that established HR data standards (i.e., definitions) are adhered to. Run relevant data interfaces between internal and external systems (e.g., payroll and benefits interfaces). Provide backup support for other HR SS Operations team members as needed (e.g., to cover for absences due to PTO, training, etc.).

Provide tier 1 support to administrative users of various HR systems. Provide basic HR system training to user community. Track transaction activities and performance against service level agreements for the HR Shared Services - Operations function. Make recommendations for the improvement of HR Shared Services - Operations systems and processes. Participate in process improvement initiatives (as needed). Assist with any HRT special projects through report creation, documentation or other tasks. Participate in and support new HR system implementations (e.g., user acceptance testing). Participate and assist with special projects as needed (e.g., employee data requirements for M&A activity). Perform other duties as assigned by management. Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 years HR experience in a corporate environment or similar business Required: Excellent computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office applications Experience of HRIS Fluent English (both written and spoken) Flexible, adaptable and ability to use initiative Ability to work in a confidential, professional manner under minimum supervision Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail Customer focused with good communication skills Team player Awareness of relevant employment legislation Ability to work professionally with all management levels within the business Knowledge of core HR policies and supporting processes Language Skills Required: English and Mandarin Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent work experience Education/Qualifications Language Skills Required: English and Mandarin Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
