B Tech. Project Guidance in BSNL

BSNL - Regional Telecom Training Centre Trivandrum is one of the premier training institutes of BSNL. It imparts training in modern Information Technology, Telecommunication Engineering and Management to BSNL executives. This ISO 9001:2008 certified centre of excellence is equipped with state-of-the-art telecom technology laboratories, which include switching systems of OCB-Alcatel France & CDOT make, 3G GSM, transmission systems in digital microwave, fibre optics, SDH, STM rings and data communication systems with Internet nodes, Wi-Fi equipments, IP MPLS VPN and Cisco routers. The faculty members are well-qualified technocrats and experienced professionals from among various telecom specialties. The 30 acres of lush green campus houses Library, Hostels and Recreational amenities. BSNL envisioning the knowledge enhancement of Engineering students to make them familiarize with main stream telecom technologies through various programmes including training and guidance of B Tech. projects by utilizing its technical expertise and training resources. projects@bsnl.co.in , in the specified format available in the site. Please attach the duly filled in softcopy in MS Word format in your request mail. In response to the request mail, the project titles and abstracts and contact information of the project guide will be sent to you. The students may discuss with their internal guide and can finalize the topic.

The programme is being implemented in two phases. Phase I

Programme : One week technical training on the respective area. Timing: 9.30AM to 5PM. Fee per student: Rs 3000/+Service Tax@10.3% (To be Paid on the first day of commencement of the Training). BSNL will provide certificate at the end of the program. Hostel facility is also available in the campus @ Rs 135/- day, including lodging and boarding. Students are advised to produce original and photocopy of college ID card and authorization letter from the college at commencement of the Training.

Phase II
The actual design and implementation will take 40 to 50 hours time Timing: 9.30AM to 5PM. Fee per student: Rs 3000/+Service Tax@10.3% (To be Paid on the first day of commencement of the Programme) BSNL will provide project completion certificate at the end of the program. With Best Regards
