frustration, anxiety, anger, and depression, resulting from aspects of work as a teacher.
A teacher today is multifaceted.

Interactions with students and coworkers and the incessant, Pressure due to college reform efforts, Inadequate administrative support, Poor working conditions, Lack of participation in decision making, The burden of paperwork, and Lack of resources.

Ensure redressal of Factors influencing stress and the stressors customers grievances Analyze the level of stress. Suggest the coping strategies.

Conducted among teachers from Degree College only.


School teachers, Management Educators are not selected. Data collected is for a period of 15days. The study is restricted to Mumbai city.

Routine situations which a teacher confronts with, on a

regular basis:

Additional responsibilities at work. Students behaviour and performance. Satisfactory working conditions in institutions. Lacks of opportunities to utilize skill and abilities. Long working hours. Concern due to poor flow of information.

Factors which reflects the positive side of the study:


Manage to cope up well with the demands from work. Sufficient mutual cooperation and team spirit exists amongst the colleagues. Impact of superior subordinate relationship. Freedom to express ideas in front of the superiors.
