Mission
To educate both CAP members and the general public on the important role aviation and space has played and will continue to play in Americas future. To encourage our nations youth to consider aerospace careers and to promote civil aviation to local communities.
Aerospace Education
programs support science, math, language arts, reading, history, and technology education, while providing teachers with the tools to teach ordinary subjects in extraordinary ways. Curriculum meets national academic content standards and addresses STEM (Science, Mathematics, Engineering and Mathematics) initiatives.

Free program available to current AEMs Age-appropriate curriculum for grades K-12 and adult levels Sign up anytime during the school year 1 hour of college credit available for a fee from Adams State College Teacher award plaque and student certificates upon completion Application and completion forms online in e-services at www.capnhq.gov (follow directions to receive password and access to e-services page)
Free orientation flight in CAP airplane! To participate, contact jstone@capnhq.gov. Your name and contact information will be given to the TOP Flights Point of Contact (POC) in your area. The POC will contact you to plan a mutually-agreeable time and date for the flight. The TOP Flights experience will include an airplane orientation. Full AE workshops are also an option at times. Flights are more fun with a fellow teacher, so encourage a peer to join CAP and come flying with you!
