Dynamo Industries is a Medium-Sized Manufacturing Industry of Small Electrical Motor. Has Plants in 11 cities in US but The Pittsburgh Plant has Been a Trouble Spot. Recently, the company has been trying to Hire a new Plant Manager for the Pittsburgh Plant.

Points to Consider
The Labor force is Unionized. The Growth of the Industry is High above Average as compare to Competitors. The Company believes in Promotability of Internal Employees. Dynamo has no Policy on Lateral Transfers.

Problems of the Pittsburgh Plant


Production Cost is Extremely High Numerous Work Slowdowns Excessive number of Grievance (Complains) Filed. The Most Recent Plant Manager was Terminated. The Company states He Left for a Better Job with another Company.
