Orientation is usually conducted any day in weekdays at 14:00 PM Korean Time by the Senior Manager.
Time 14:00-14:10 Day 1 day only Event -Welcome new member -Introduce TOC Staff -Send and present the Orientation Manual. - Discuss company policies that will guide new member on their work responsibilities. Break (Getting ready for Class Reporting Orientation) Presented by Senior Manager

Definition of the Topic A compilation of revised company policies that will guide new member on their work responsibilities. Class Reporting stands as teachers attendance.

A. Training Class Period


Newly hired teachers are need to undergo for 1 month training class period with payment. Management will monitor for good performance, attitude towards work and teaching skills of the teachers. Newly hired teachers will only have 3-4 students for 1 month, it depends with the performance.. Training class period may last for 2-3 weeks only it depends on how good the teacher in overall work performance, meaning, she/he is good enough to have more regular classes. Absences and tardiness are not allowed during training class period. Teachers are not allowed to change his/her available time for 1 month upon hired. Teachers can decide their available time for teaching. (afternoon and evening classes are the peak hours) For full time, teacher can teach for maximum of 8 hours a day and for Part time, teacher can teach for maximum of 4-5 hours a day. Management can terminate the teacher for her/his bad performance during training class period.

B. Resignation
*Resignation letter must be sent 1 month before resignation date and wait for the Senior Managers confirmation message. *Teacher need to finish all of the class schedules for 1 month before leaving the company. *If there are any unfinished class schedules covered in resignation period, management will not pay for teachers remaining salary.

C. Request to change of available time


* Management will make teachers schedule only with their given available time.
* For newly hired teachers, he/she may request to change of available time after 1 month of working in the company. * Teachers may request to change their available time by sending Request to change available time form to sch_manager@tocall.kr One (1) month before effective date and wait for the Management confirmation message. * After confirming by the management, all class schedules must be finished for one (1) month and new available time will be effective the following month as requested. *Adding of available time will be no problem just inform the Managers, but changing of available is required to report to the management.

D. TOCs Regular Class Rate


*25 minutes class P50 *50 minutes class P100 *10 minutes demo class - P25 *All absent class of the student are paid. *All cancel (SLD Students Leave Day class code) Class by the student are not paid. * All replace classes are paid in regular class rate. ok!!

E. Class Penalties
* For all absences without notification 7 days before class are penalized as the amount below: 25 minutes class = P100 penalty 50 minutes class = P200 penalty 10 minutes demo class = 50 penalty *For emergency absences for any reasons that notified the company the same day of class are penalized. (Emergency absences such as: No internet connection, Electricity interruption, emergency situation, etc.) *Just in case Internet and Electricity interruption occurred during class, the class will be marked absent without penalty.

* In case of emergency that the teacher is sick, he/she must send the scan copy of his/her medical report or any prescription from the doctor to avoid penalties.
* No penalties for absences caused by Disaster/Typhoon.

F. Salary Policy
* All salary will be deposited every on 28th of the month. *All salary that will deposit every month are salary from last month. [example: salary cut-off Nov. 1-31, 2011, payment will be on December 28, 2011 salary.] Salary Report will send through email 1 week before salary day. Teacher must check their salary report and send message to fc_manager@tocall.kr for any questions.

* All TOC teachers need to open their bank account to receive their salary every month. Company recommend BPI bank account.

G. Company Holidays
All holidays stated below are not paid. All holidays that has classes are not paid. (Korean and Philippine Holiday) Here are the list of Holidays that has no classes. 1. Korean Holiday a. Chinese Lunar New Year. b. Chouseok Day (Harvesting/Thanksgiving Day). 2. Philippine Holiday a. Holy Thursday b. Good Friday c. All Saints Day (Nov 1) d. Christmas eve and Christmas day (Dec 24-25) e. New years eve and New Year. (Dec 31-Jan 1)

Class Reporting
1. Before Class Report- 5 minutes before class 2. After Class Report3. Total Class Report* Send all before and after class report to Toc Manager via Skype.

*Send all Total class report to sch_manager@tocall.kr via gmail.

*All before class report must be sent 5 minutes before class to Toc Manager via skype and wait for the confirmation message by Manager on duty. * Before Class Report format: Date/Teachers ID/Students Number/Students Name

*Example: 2011-12-27/T100032/A010053/BaeSangHyun * Just in case that the student is still offline during class time, teacher must send message and still call the student. *Send update reports to TOC Manager such as: ( calling the student, waiting for the student, Class started )

2. After Class Report


*All after class report must be sent 5 minutes after class to Toc Manager via skype and wait for the confirmation message by Manager on duty.

* After Class Report format: Date/Teachers ID/Students Number/Students Name Case 1: The student attended on time Case 2: The student attended late (dont forget to write how many minutes late) Case 3: The student was absent.
*Example 1: 2011-12-27/T100032/A010053/BaeSangHyun/The student attended on time Example 2: 2011-12-27/T100032/A010053/BaeSangHyun/The student attended 5 minutes late Example 3: 2011-12-27/T100032/A010053/BaeSangHyun/The student was absent. *Just in case the student is still offline during class time, teacher must wait for 40 minutes in 50 minutes class, 20 minutes in 25 minutes class to consider that the student is absent.

3. Total Class Report


* Teacher can send his/her After class report after all of his/her classes. * For all classes in the morning, teacher can send his/her Total Class Report until 11am. * For all classes in the afternoon and evening, teacher can send his/her Total Class Report until 12midnight. * All Total Class Report must be sent to sch_manager@tocall.kr via gmail.

*Total Class Report has two (2) different subject. 1. Attended Total Class Report 2. Absent Total Class Report *All reports must be sent separated.

I. Student Level Test Guidelines


*Pre-beginner Students at this level are typically new to the English language. Student at this level usually can say their names and age. They need help to conduct day to day business and usually have trouble giving and answering personal information independently. They have very limited communication in English. They are capable of 1 3 word utterance.

*Upper Pre-Beginner
Students at this level are typically new to the English language. They have little or no ability to derive meaning from English text. They can understand simple instructions. They generally understand very little English and tend to read very slowly and word by word. They have small bank of English words and very limited and their comprehension quickly breaks down when they try to have long conversation.

I. Student Level Test Guidelines


*Beginner - Students at this level usually give information about themselves. They can use common greetings but cannot engage to fluent conversation. They communicate with difficulty and commit many errors. They give very simple unelaborated answer. They have many hesitations. They have no ability to extend conversation and they use simple grammar and vocabulary. Students at this level can read and understand short connected texts on familiar topics when high-frequency English is used. They have difficulty reading and understanding materials written for their level. In books, pictures that illustrate meaning are still a needed support. *Pre-Intermediate - Students at this level have a somewhat larger English vocabulary and a basic sense of simple English language structures. They initiate conversation but sometimes commit errors. They read well but tend to interpret English very literally and have difficulty following story lines that have a surprise twist or nonstandard format. They converse fairly well and still rely heavily on what they already know about a topic to confirm meaning and increase comprehension.

I. Student Level Test Guidelines


*Upper-Intermediate - Students at this level have a larger English vocabulary and a basic sense of simple English language structures. Students at this level can satisfy common communication and skills and responds to questions and initiate conversation with minimal errors. They may need repetition for unfamiliar topics.

*Intermediate - Students at this level can initiate conversation. They express their opinion with minimal error about immediate surroundings. They have the ability to read and understand, with minimal support related to second language. With linguistic support these students can often demonstrate comprehension of main and supporting ideas on topics they know little about. Additionally, they can often understand English beyond its literal meaning, and they have an emerging ability to think analytically to build conceptual understanding. They attempt to interact in a conversation and use complex vocabulary, idioms and complex grammar.

I. Demo Class
*Demo class is the first class of a student who will decide if they will continue to have regular class and who will be their teacher. *Teachers are not allowed to absent at any reasons for demo class. It is the most important class for student and for the good image of the company. *Demo class is conducted for 10 minutes only, each teacher will conduct 10 minutes demo class and the student may choose which teacher he/she like for his/her class. *Teachers should prepare the following for demo class: - short introduction of themselves. - teacher must evaluate student level - recommend books for the student and write it in the reports. * Type of class (free conversation, focus on grammar, focus on vocabulary, etc.) *Teachers should make themselves attractive with good teaching skill and affable character.
