Energy Conversion
A steam power plant is a means for converting the potential chemical energy of fuel into electrical energy.

In its simplest form it consists of a boiler and a turbine driving an electric generator.
The boiler is a device for turning water into steam. The steam jet issuing from the spout spins the fan (turbine) and also the generator.

Basically, steam reheated power plant working principle is same with steam power plant. The only difference is steam from output of High Pressure Turbine is reheated and used to drive Intermediate/Low Pressure Turbine.

This plant is constructed as a combination of steam turbine and gas turbine power plant. High heat energy content in GT exhaust gas is absorbed to produce steam in a type of boiler called Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). Steam produced by HRSG is used to drive steam turbine.
