THREAT EVALUATION AND WPN ASSIGNMENT (TEWA) WPN CON

SURVEILLANCE
Involves detection, track initiation, ht finding, tracking and iden of all abn obj detected within the airspace
land based long range air def radar

complement by AEW C, LLAD, ATC rad (civ & mil), naval radar and VOPs interconnected with secure data links

TEWA
Involves assessment and evaluation of overall airspace sit aval at comd and con centre. Iden and classified.
Appropriate tac action taken.

WPN CON
Involves mngt and coord of all air def wpns aval. Wpn sys incl ftr ac with AAM/guns, SAM and LLAD. Process involve con and direct asg wpn to eliminate threat.
