The personnel information system is a computer based system for maintenance of the service registers of individuals in the organizations. The details pertaining to personnel, posting, qualifications, training attended, family details etc are stored in this system. The personnel information system deal with the flow of information about the people working in the organization, as well as about future personnel needs.
