HOT CHIPS -OPERATION

HOT CHIPS normally opens at 0800 hrs in the morning then the workers did all the mis-en-place & the owner performed all the ritual prayers by garlanding the photo frames of gods & garlands, lightening up the lamp & incense sticks. Whenever a customer dropped in for the purchase of hot chips, the special hybrid potatoes which were already peeled off & soaked in water were directly sliced over the hot kadai at an instant. This way of frying in the presence of customer & serving the piping hot potato wafers at a reasonable price had a pull effect on customers since day one.

Another reason for the people preferring HOT CHIPS was the cleanliness surrounding the shop & especially around the area where the snacks were prepared. The service also plays an important role. The graceful offering of delicacies given as a sample to customers had indirectly acted as a revenue earner for HOT CHIPS.
