It is an off-road vehicle, also known as an ATV ( All Terrain Vehicle ). It is mainly used to drive on unpaved road like sand, gravel, rocks and other natural terrains. Negotiates rough terrains in all types of weathers. Can be used by Army Personnel, Agriculturist, in rescue operations, explorations, etc and Motor Sports.

An intercollegiate engineering design competition for undergraduate and graduate engineering students, organized by SAE India. Consists of various events ranging from design report competition to dynamic racing events. Over 250 colleges from all over India participate in it.

As a team design, build, test, promote, and race an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) To develop a vehicle that confirms to the SAE standards and can be explored for commercial main-stream production. To develop a frame that is low-weight, cost effective and safe for the driver and other competitors. Consideration of Ergonomics & Aesthetics

Started in 2004 by a group of motorsports enthusiastic students, as Team AVALANCHE. Has designed 6 ATVs till date. One of the most prestigious clubs at IIT D. Consists of members from all departments, ranging from Civil to Mechanical, Chemical to Textile, CS to Electrical.

Year 2005 Participated in BAJA Africa for the first time Year 2006 1st among all Indian Teams. 2nd among all Asian Teams. 18th among all International Teams. 2nd in serviceability.

Year 2007 1st in design in India. 5th in design in South Africa. 5th in endurance test in India. 11th overall out of 27 Indian teams. Year 2009 4th in innovation and design of roll cage. 5th in weight list with total weight of 275 kg. First time in BAJA IIT Delhi, all four wheels locked at the panic braking.
