Supporting Frame for Remote Mounting

 A new supporting frame version replaces the present

one used for remote mounting of ODUs in (1+1) Hot
Stand By (Balanced and Unbalanced)

 This Supporting Frame is derived from the new

supporting frame for integrated mounting.
mounting
It has the same structure with, in addition, the proper
material for pole or wall mounting. In this case the
waveguide is still necessary.

 Available frequency bands: 15, 18, 23, 26, 38 GHz

 As it concerns 7,8,13 GHz the present design

of supporting frame remains unchanged.

SRAL XD Page 15
SRA L Catalogue update
Supporting Frame for Integrated Mounting
 As an alternative to present supporting frame
for remote mounting, this new version is suitable
for integrated mounting of ODUs in (1+1)
Hot Stand By configuration (Balanced and Unbalanced)

 No need for waveguide

 The result of this type of mounting is a compact structure,

structure
that allows to hide the ODUs behind the antenna,
with a minimum environmental impact.
impact

 This solution is available for 15, 18, 23, 26, 38 GHz RF bands.
bands

 It is suitable with SRA L antennas with

diameter 30, 60, 80 cm.

Continuity with SRA L Product Line

 Same management system (NetViewer)

 TMN compatibility. Same DCN already installed can be re-used. No need for external
devices to connect SRAL XD TMN I/F to SRA L TMN I/F.

 Same antennas and supporting frames of SRA L (identichal mechanical interfaces):

common inventory

 Same IDU/ODU cable and connection kits:

common inventory

 16 TCM system gain in line with SRA L:

easy migration from 8xE1 SRA L to 16xE1 HD (same RF band occupancy) without need to
