GM/ JV users with GQTS Create capability can change the APQP Support Level determined by the GQTS-calculated Impact . For example: If the Impact score determines that the APQP Level should be Supplier-monitored, but special circumstances warrant that the Level should be Customer- monitored, the authorized user can execute an override which will change the Support Level from Supplier-monitored to
Customer-monitored.
GM/ JV users with GQTS Override capability can also update an Assessment record. If a user selected a category element and SAVED that choice as part of the Assessment in error, a user with the GQTS Override role can access the Assessment, change that category element, and update the Assessment, by choosing the [Create/ Update] Action option.

The APQP Assessment module is one of the GQTS 7.X enhancements being implemented throughout 2006. APQP Assessment module supports the GM 1927-7 APQP Assessment Process (formerly known as Risk Assessment. The module is available to GM / JV users; suppliers cannot access this module. The module allows users to create a new APQP Assessment and generate an Assessment Impact Score based upon selection of category descriptors as reflected in the GM1927-7 form.
