LITERATURE REVIEW
S. K. Dwivedy gave the note of vibration in linear and nonlinear dynamical systems. Both inertia and energy based approaches have been introduced to derive the equation of motion. With the help of simple numerical examples, responses of linear and nonlinear systems, their stability and bifurcations have been studied. John McConville, Bristol-Myers Squibb and T om LaRocque, CTC introduce the installation of low-cost vibration hardware for monitoring inacessible cooling tower components has pr oved to save Bristol-Myers Squibb time and money. Here they give Machine Plant and Systems Monitor the full story. J. wider , G. Wszoek , K. Foit , P. Michalski , S. Wilfried Reimche, Ulrich Sdmersen, Oliver Pietsch, Christian Scheer, Fiedrich-Wilhelm Bach University of Hannover, Institute of Materials Science, Department of NDT, Lise-Meitner-Str.1, D-30823 Garbsen, Germany Assess the condition of equipment.Eliminate catastrophic failures.Diagnose the root causes Extend the life of components.Improve plant performance (AVL,PLF,Generation).Reduce unplanned/forced outages. To maintain availability close to 100%.

OBJECTIVE
Rise of vibration problems associated with structures, which are more delicate and intricate, machines, which are faster and more complex, and production processes, which are automated and interlinked.

vibration analysis carried by Statistical time values for general signal description and threshold comparison. envelope analysis and spectrum, phase and correlation analysis of multi sensor arrangements will be followed

PROCEDURE: In IRD306 machine vibration calculated by analog methods. In IRD880, DATAPROC 1500 VIBRATION ANALYSIS:
1.Displacement 2.Velocity
SPECTRUM ANALYSIS:

FUTURE WORKS To identifying problems occurred machinery during working condition by the vibration analysis problems are Unbalanced .Bent shafts .Misalignment- of couplings, bearing and pulleys .Looseness .Resonance .Distribution-from soft foot and piping strain conditions Eccentricity- of pulleys and gears .Reciprocating forces.

In vibration analysis, the portable meter will be used to find out above problems with the help of defining some characteristics are Displacement Velocity Acceleration .
