Abu Dhabi has the highest (per capita) level of waste in the world. In 2007-2008, Abu Dhabi produced 5.9 million tonnes of waste Landfills and dump sites. Every resident in Abu Dhabi generates about 4.2 kilograms of waste/day. Biggest landfill in Abu Dhabi is in Al Dhafra that receives at least 20,000 tonnes of waste/day.

Refill water bottles. Use towels instead of tissues. Avoid plastic wraps to cover food and use small plates instead.
