IPTV India
In India, IPTV was launched by Airtel and the government service provider MTNL and BSNL through tie up with AKSH and is available in most of the major cities of the country. Some companies are: 1. Airtel 2. MTNL 3. BSNL 4. Reliance 5. Incontrol IPTV

Limitations
The following are some limitations of iptv: 1. Delay 2. Strict minimum speed internet (i.e. 2Mbps) 3. Higher Bandwidth

CONCLUSION
IPTV has many advantages however its implementation is costly and very few providers in India as well as globally.
Also IPTV finds it difficult to compete with the existing cable service provider who have also digitized now and the big dish TV players.
IPTV uses internet protocol and in INDIA, internet is not available everywhere and having minimum 2Mbps speed connection is also not common. To add more, it requires an unlimited internet connection at 2Mbps which is very costly. Higher cost, internet unavailability and inadequate infrastructure, IPTV finds less takers.
