v) In the meeting it is examined whether the loan is properly repaid without any default and if any loanee defaults required steps are advised.

Avg. attendance = Sum of attendance for each meeting/ Total number of meetings.

Attendance

= Average attendance x 100/Total number of members in the group

Out of the 200 marks self help groups which obtain more than 150 marks (75%) are eligible to be linked with the banks for credit.

The self help groups which score less than 150 marks need to be linked to the banks or the financial institutions only after improving the score. The members of such group should discuss among themselves the various means of improving the score and re-evaluation shall be done after a gap of three months.
